NFL 2013 SEASON
As an old school broncos fan I still remember the old days when the street pigeons were in our division. Seattle/ Denver super bowl was my call and my best possible scenario. Pretty sure Denver has this one. Peyton is healthy and focused. The Seahawks have been good but lucky. They damn near lost to SF.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Your team kicked some ass, Donovan.

I think the Superbowl game is gonna be a great match-up.

Not sure whether it's more or less fun to sincerely like both teams in the showdown, but a fun watch in any case.

I have to agree. Especially if the Broncos bring the defense that played yesterday.

I may have been a little hasty in my comments early this morning. I might be out of my fuckin' mind too if I were going to the SuperBowl.

It's so many years the rivalry isn't what it once was. But in the olden times the Seahawks Broncos match ups were always classics. You don't even have to hate either team to appreciate what they did to get there. Hope the game measures up to the inevitable hype. Predictions for top stories next two weeks: 1) Is this a Mannings curtain call? 2) Sherman ' s mouth 3) Russell Wilson is still short.

They've already started that one this morning and Sherman's mouth plays right into Denver's hands. You've got the good guy (Payton) against the bad guy. I don't see the Seahawks luck lasting in this one. Payton has too many weapons.

For those of you who don't already know, Sherman's post game interview was a publicity stunt and a cash grab for Beats headphones: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HESJgpYYUyM

That commercial was released Monday morning.

I'm sure it was publicity and maybe calculated but as rants go it was basic heat of the moment stuff. Very mild I thought. Not sure why everybody got all crazy about it.

Are you kiddin' me!

I actually felt bad after calling him a thug when I realized I might have been acting all jacked up too after playing that game.

Sherman is a notorious trash talker.

He also has more INT's the last three years than anybody else.

I think most people now, a few days later, are able to chuckle at it, but when it went down, I thought he looked and sounded like an asshole.

He apologized yesterday, and basically said he should have given more credit to his teammates during the interview, instead of making it all about him.

I think he's far from a thug. He got into Stanford for pete's sake. I don't think you can fake that. Has to be fairly intelligent.
