There is no such thing as "Too hard, I can't do it."
Sometimes I like to remind myself and the children in my care of these things.

I use words to that effect when I'm trying to talk myself into learning how to use a saw.
Jigsaws don't make me nervous in the way that circular saws do.
eye and ear protection are key. The rest is self explanatory, and with all the safety stuff it's pretty hard to do yourself harm with one. You're much more likely to fuck up your wood by cutting it too short than to injure yourself. Then you might hurt yourself throwing a tantrum when you find out your key piece is two inches too short...and you gotta go back to the frigging homestore.

I'm a grown woman, I don't throw tantrums...nor do I fart & I poop pearls. 
What about a hissy fit? Do you throw hissy fits?

Its a Goddamn good thing Helen Keller had intelligence. She may have had an I.Q. of 150 not so with many but.......you never know till you try.
