Back in the day they were the team that everyone beat. Archie Manning was the quarterback I remember. If they won half their games it was a spectacular season.
We've used 2 of our 3 chances to wrap this shit up. I was so annoyed I was muttering. Goddamn they piss me off sometimes. They had four 3 and out in a row. Four, and then the fricken turnovers. Where the hell was the brilliance I saw all season. Gone, that's where.

How'd they do last year?
It was our first year with a new, young head coach and we went to the playoffs.
Did any of you watch the Bills game last night? One of the players collapsed on the field. The NFL came out later and said he had gone into cardiac arrest after taking a hit. The game was suspended. I'm reading that it was traumatizing for all to see with players, coaches and other staff in tears on the field and on the sidelines. The ambulance drove out onto the field where he was being given CPR.

This has been reported in Britain, and my condolences goes to everyone. The BBC reported it as the only thing of interest that happened in the game, and shook the crowd out of a stupor. And that the Christmas spirit was maintained by abandoning the game. There will be representations made to the Oval office about suspending the NFL indefinately due to its malign influence of the general public.

I can vouch for that, i have never made it through the four hours, never, i get hives and dandruff, dandruff that wasnt there at the start of a game.

My partner says that after fifteen minutes one eye looks to the right, and the other to the left. I levitate by about a foot. I drop my cacks, (trousers), and fire a bullet that hits the wall at fifty miles an hour smashing the plaster.

Everything becomes normal after i get a jab of mogadon. Damn you NFL.

hah
Wow Piglet. Wow.
I heard about this and just saw the clip. I hope he will be okay.
I also saw a thread on twitter where someone blamed too many jabs. (vaccine) They said several in sports have suffered that same thing the last couple of years.......
really?
Sounds like they are not re-scheduling the game. What will happen now?
Why are reporters saying it is "jarring to see these players react" like they aren't supposed to have emotion or be human beings?

Those lunatic anti-vaxxers were out in force spreading their bullshit claims yesterday and they'll probably being doing the same again today. I don't know if he got the vaccination or not, I only know he suffered cardiac arrest after a tackle.

I don't know what will happen in regards to making up the lost game. It really annoyed me to see the NFL taking credit for ending the game on Monday night, it makes me feel irate whenever I think about it. As far as I can tell, the two head coaches came together and made the decision, not Roger fuckin' Goodell. Those players were traumatized and in no condition to finish the game.

Damar Hamlin's GoFundMe for his mom's daycare had a few thousand dollars in it before Monday night, it now has millions. People around the world have donated.
I have had two anti covid jabs, for about a year i have had atrial fibrillation, and have had a test at the doctors, no problem found. I wont be having another jab, its time to man up and take whatevers coming, if anything. I must have contracted covid in all that time.

Recent new knowledge has shown that most people died of flu, not covid, and that masks are as useless as an ashtray on a motorbike. The covid bug is much smaller than the configuration of a mask, it just floats through. Masks are just making the frightened feel better.

Lockdown, staying at home etc, was a monumental waste of time costing billions. There is solid evidence vaccines cause heart attacks. I escaped, fuck vaccine.

Let me say that again, the vast majority of deaths was from flu.
Take it to the covid thread. I came here to read about sports ffs.
Several people in sports have suffered cardiac arrest since the vaccine. I don't know if the vaccine caused it and I don't claim too, but I don't think it's nuts to rule it out.
I came here to read piglet's post.

Hundreds around the world.

Absolutely horrifying to watch.
I’m glad his mom was there - the only thing worse for a mother is to not be able to get to your child in a moment like this.
Amazing job by first responders.
Cautionary positive signs being reported by his fam today. I hope and pray for the best possible outcome.
So young.
From memory early covid tests were not covid specific, everything was assumed to be covid, it was not. It looks like you and me mirah should go on a date. I will be wearing a nazi uniform and a stetson, with the booking form for a hotel room held up high in one hand all night.
They would make you wait downstairs while they played doctor.
Damar is alert and responsive!! Neurologically intact.
The news we’ve all wanted to hear!

Damar asked doc who won the game Mon night ( in writing) - the doc said you did. You won the game of life.

Doctors credit the fast response with AED on hand to this outcome.

Saints just bought 67 AEDs for local sports orgs to ensure safety of those athletes.
Wonderful to read. I've thought about that kid all week.

Tee Higgins is the wide receiver that Damar had tackled before he collapsed and that young man has felt horrible since it happened. Logically he understands they both were playing the game the way it's played, yet he felt just awful about it. Damar's mom called him directly and it made such a difference in where his head was at. She told him she was thinking of him and praying for him, she was a very understanding mom. I'm so glad she did that. It was meaningful to him.
