I'm talking to myself, aren't I. I don't have anyone to talk football with any more.   111

Not unless it's about the New England Patriots.
I’ll talk football with you , Duchess…

Just spotted this thread
For now, I’ll just say Go Blue!
Getting ready for Ohio State-Michigan game this weekend!

Thank you for humoring me!

I was so relieved to see you refer to the Ohio State/Michigan game after saying Go Blue. Whew. For a split second I thought you might be talking about those FilthyNewYorkGiants.  Dramaqueen
Honestly don’t know how we get by when football isn’t on almost every day of the week.

Who’s your pick for tonight’s game?
I'm going with Arizona, but only because former Philadelphia Eagle Zach Ertz is their TE.
Ah nice - I dig the loyalty.

I gotta go Niners tho … Christian McCaffrey is a stud RB and Jimmy G is not horrible to look at either.
hah  No doubt about it, he's a cutie pie.
I am all about this Mexico City halftime…
Congrats! 38-10. That's a fricken beatdown.
It was!
Did you see after the game the coach said he was impressed the Mexico City knew when to clap. Lol jeesh

No, I didn't see that. *cringe* My God!   hah
There is some drama regarding the Cardinals O-line coach, Sean Kugler, being fired in Mexico City. I don't know the cause behind the firing, only that he was fired and DID NOT fly home with the team. Uh oh.

Oh yeah.....filthy Minnesota Vikings! Ignore my typo in the Thanksgiving thread.
We can discuss NFL. In proper football, soccer as you call it, the ball is in play most of the game, at least 60 or 70 minutes of the 90. In the NFL, the ball is in play for about ten seconds per quarter.

And it takes four hours. In sub zero temperatures people must die from exposure, most of it waiting for something to happen, and when it does you cant see it as the fans are to far away. Do people take siutcases full of food and drink? And that must run out in four hours, meaning you have to purchase extra food at the game which will be over priced. How much does a ticket cost Mr Duchess?

I bet its about 200 dollars. Thankfully the NHL will never catch on beyond the US. The USA V Britain will never happen. Having to field 50 or 60 players per team is laughable, considering the action only lasts micro seconds.

The frost bite in the Bills team in midwinter must be terrible. Oh, they might have hot water bottles.

Do fans take books to games to fill the time?

You can call me Duke, hun. Smiley_emoticons_smile

I don't know how much tix cost, I've never had to pay for them.
*flexes*.

Go Birds!

I like talking football but I'm a Broncos fan sooooo...
Luckily I live where the Bill's get a lot of play so I can still enjoy a game.
