I don't get involved in personal things like that. Half the times they are not even true. I keep my time on the internet enjoyable and light. If I got involved in every drama that came my way from every internet friend I've had I would have an insane last few years.

May I ask why everyone is treating her like she's suffering from tuberculosis instead of on a serious bender? This is a 'mock' forum, after all. She's obviously been drinking for several days now, so I sort of doubt the anniversary of her son's accident was the cause of this... and it's not exactly the first time we've seen this behavior from her although it's the worst so far.

I don't know, she's probally going to feel like shit when she sobers up and it's a crappy feeling. My dad died of alcoholism, he got so drunk one time that he fell in the bathtub and my mom left him there for two days and just brought him his vodka on ice. Sure it's funny now, but Jesus Christ he was a mess.

That's because you're a kind and decent person. But I've been manipulated by this kind of behavior before and it annoys me to see it being used on new, unsuspecting people exposed to it for the first time. She's canny enough even at her drunkest to know what will work on people's sympathy... everyone was thinking she had just found out she was terminally ill and had only months to live. No, it's because of the woman on the left in some old photo she posted. No, it's because of her son's near death a year ago.
I hate to admit it, but Frank's got it right. It's better to distance yourself from the drama, especially in this case.

Some of us might actually have feelings and compassion. I personally don't feel this is mock material.
There's no way her son being in a near-fatal accident would cause this kind of reaction. I don't know what's up with her, but I'm not getting sucked into drama, just showing a bit of concern. Hopefully, everything will be ok. JB doesn't strike me as the type to just screw around with people. Ant says she communicated with her and that she'll be fine... so I'm taking that as a true statement. Just saying I hope things get better for her soon, whatever is going on.

Some of us have been through this with her so many times that we've become desensitized. If you consider that lack of feelings and compassion, then so be it.
