I got some pretty placemats for my table. But I think they are too pretty for everyday use and now I want some plain mats.
This is so embarrasing. Here is the before photo:

That rug suits the space.

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. That's a communal space, right? Someone else did the decorating. It looks fine.
Thanks. Its just that the stains look so awful. It really is a very comfortable cabin space. I like having the rug, I can sit on it with the cat now and not feel gross.
I see log cabin walls and I am green with envy! Green!
Yeah. It's really cool. I am enjoying the sound of rain on the sloped roof today.
I need a roasting pan. I don't want to have to pay $100 for one, but I don't want a cheap ass one either. I just want a decent roasting pan that will do its job and not break the bank. Is a dutch oven the same as a roasting pan?
No it's not, costco should have a nice one for $30.
Dear Sally, my rug keeps moving and it doesn't stay put. WHAT DO I DO?
Well you could get one of those rubber mats that keep them from sliding like most people would do. Or you could just go outside and find a big rock and sit it on top of it.

I don't have a Costco membership, but I do have one at Sam's that someone blessed me with. After reading your post I went to see what they have and I found a Tramontina roaster for $19.98 regularly $32.98. It kinda burns my ass that I have to spend money on something to cook with! Gawd. Anyway, thanks for the response.

That is dangerous to you and you need to get a rubber backed pad immediately.
But its a rug on top of a carpet-I didn't think it would need it!!!

It doesn't cause me to slip-its just annoying how it looks-and mostly a lot of it is from the cat.
Ahhhh I thought you were sliding like you were on ice. I didn't want you to break your neck.
No, that will happen falling down the stairs

One of my floor mats at work started slipping this week tho-that was strange. I must have adjusted something just enough, and now I've slipped on it twice.
Not Sally, but, we have a rubber backed runner in our kitchen on our tile floor that doesn't slip but the edges pop up if bumped. So I bought "Gorilla double sided tape" and taped the edges down, and it works great we now can vacuum over the edges and they never move!
I have too many animals to have rugs. They see a rug and they just think it looks like a good thing to destroy. Why puke or shit on the tile when you can do it on a beautiful thousand dollar rug?

That is great. Thanks.
