He is one of the most interesting people I have ever met. I loved his stories and pictures and seriously wanted to bawl like a 2 year old when all his Yemen pix disappeared when he closed his account. It never occurred to me to save them on a different server. Damnit! He shared a lot with us and I miss him.

Yeah, it really sucked watching his city get turned into rubble, it was such a beautiful place seemingly untouched by the ravages of extremists. I hope he is doing well but my weird esp thoughts think he is dead probably by a heart attack but we will never know. Like many that have been on this forum we get to see a glimmer of their lives then they are gone. Kinda like working at a nursing home. We love them then they move on to bigger and better things.

Sometimes I think that when we die we actually wake up. It keeps me sane.

I like to think we ascend to higher plane of existence when we die. Like Stargate SG-1. Or get reincarnated that would be cool.
