I was starting to get ill thinking about the US selling out all our interests to other countries, then I thought my own little microcosm. A couple of my neighbors are pretty cool. A couple are a little rednecky, but OK. One is a family of white trash. I would sell my home to the most ethnic family I could find just to piss off the white trash family. So I can see how it happens. hahahaha

How are we in such a fucking mess as a nation? How? Many of us work hard and contribute. How the fuck can we owe like that? Because of the pieces of shit who are getting the free ride. Because we give people more back for tax refunds than they paid in for the entire year. Because we reward the laziest and least educated among us. Because we are a fatass nation and getting stupider every year. Then there are idiots like me who DO pay our debts and DO live within our means and DO make good on our promises. Our foreign minister can speak fluent mandarin and we have a very good relationship with China. I think if we maintain a civil dialogue with China then alot of positive outcomes can be achieved. They have a different culture but they are still people like us. There is alot we can learn from each other.

I'm not crazy about a culture that jails those who disagree with their goverment.

Thats true, what happened in Beijing in 1989 was horrific. But thats their regime not really their culture. Alot of countries are like that, if you rock the boat they will rock you back. Don't you think we are abit like that too? Just not as obvious.

I havent visited china but I am sure its a great place. I have friends who have and had a great time. Some stuff that goes on there is not acceptable. Some stuff that goes on in our world is not acceptable either. Its not them and us.
