The transcript is good. But the photos presented during the
interview were just plain weird. They were all of Johnny and Mom.
Not family photos, but more intimate ones, head leaning
against head.....like an engagement photo in the paper. Many
different ones. It was freaky. No, it was not some other female.
Mom's eyebrows are her trademark.

"going back through the house"
Hmmmmm. Could the house have been cased by someone
ahead of time? After all, "everyone knows where the key is."

I'm guessing the key was gone?
I have serious issues with assuming the Mom is involved. IMHO, it's absurd to parse her every word. She's obviously grieving and pursuing justice in any way she can.

Look we all pretty much know what was going on there, someone was selling drugs - baggies, scales... Lisa and Johnny were having people coming and going, dropping by playing pool, hanging out, usual young adult stuff when they have a whole house to themselves without the worry of parents popping in, so what happened? I say ask Tiffany not Johnny's mother (even if she knew where the key was, so what? Apparently a lot of people probably knew where that key was, wanna bet? Nobody answered me, but I found it on the transcripts on NG, it was Johnny's father that said: "they planned it. They planned it because they went to that house with tape and bags. I hope and pray the cops find them before I do!" So, the killers brought the plastic bags and duct tape with them! Whoever did this they premeditated what they were going to do. I also heard another version of what Johnny said before he dropped the phone and I believe it was the mother who said it on the Today Show with Meredith Vieira: Johnny's mother said Johnny said something like "Hey bro, what are you doing here, what do you want and then who are you? that tells me he recognized one of the killers, wondered why he was there and who was the "stranger" he brought with him and what did they want? I could be wrong but when I heard the mother say that,, and they always say that "the devil is in the details" ...One of the killers was known to both of them and Tiffany knows who that is, that's what I believe...and they went there to murder this couple and look for some stash of drugs that they believed was there...JMO
I agree with most of what EKC wrote, but I'm still bothered by the MOD. Even if this was just a run of the mill robbery/murder, I can't get believe that the perps would resort to binding, gagging and taping them TIGHTLY. And I certainly disagree with Metalusa's (sp?) version that JC was in on it and "accidentally expired". No, whoever did this was angry...I can imagine that person or persons wrapping that tape tight...aggressively..to make a damn tight seal....which takes a relatively long time and doesn't strike me as something a drug-stealer would be doing, imo.

Yeah . . . it's always better to bind someone LOOSELY to prevent them from escaping!

It is a torturous death... someone definitely wanted them to suffer....but then again I do not think the robbers brought the bags and tape with them.. I think that most of us have duct tape and plastic bags.. in our garages and kitchen drawers.. I know I do... But if there was alot of blood in the kitchen as stated in a previous post and they had already been injured then the head bagging was just cruelty.

I think you get my point. If not, I'll clarify: Wrapping the tape tightly around their necks is an act of aggression...and they wouldn't likey be escaping on their necks.

BoogyWoogy, would you mind using the "quote" button to the lower right of the post you're addressing, so we all know to what you're referring. Thanks.

I do think the bags/tape may have been brought to the scene. I think if one is planning a robbery, when someone is home, duct tape would be almost essential to bind a victim. As I've noted before, this method of murder is popular in various video games. It's not a stretch to presume that "gansta" wanna be types would be influenced by media. That said, the scenario you note is certainly possible. Perhaps murder was an afterthought? But why? Why go from robbery to murder? And why not bring tools if you're planning a murder?
Regardless, I'm certain we'll find out.
Regarding Johnny's Mom. I agree she's a bit odd. But I think the sexual innuendo is over the top. As others have noted, she's grieving and appears to have impulse control issues. She's probably not one to parse words.

I'm not sure about your comment that she's pursuing justice. She's blaming everybody but her son for what may have led up to his and Lisa's murders. She doesn't want to admit (or can't go there yet because of her raw emotions) Johnny has a past, and he most likely pissed off at least one person who may have decided to retaliate.
As for parsing the mom's words. Why wouldn't we? She keeps adding to the information she and LE have presented to the public, and some of it's conflicting or just plain weird. Although some people are suggesting she may have somehow been involved in her son's murder, I don't believe that's the case, but I do think she knows more than she's saying. I certainly hope she's giving the info to LE before blabbing it to the media.

yes. i do. i have said so over and over. but she was quite composed in her appearance on TV last night. she is on drugs or crazy. and she is trying to deflect on another victim, Lisa.
read this, if you haven't. she's whacked. i still feel sorry for her.

the bags and tape were weapons of opportunity. no murderers carry bags around. and 'pros' would use a fast method, a gun. these murders were personal.
secondly...i think Tiffany's phone calls were big fat red herrings.
Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and found it when I searched this case. I've been following the info about the murders. I've read some good stuff on here.
I agree with the fact that both the tape and the bags can be weapons of opportunity.
I do think that the perpetrators brought the tape with them. If they are robbing someone you should probably bring something to restrain the victims.
I think it is safe to assume that the perps had at least one firearm with them to make the couple comply with their orders.
If they bring duct tape and a firearm, I think they would bring gloves and make sure the tape is print free. It isn't a large leap from there for the perps to think of grabbing bags in case they kill the victims (but I'm thinking they could have pulled plastic bags from under a kitchen sink or a drawer of extra grocery bags).

In The Mamadou Barry case in Atlanta.. the International Robbing Crew gang broke in to his apartment and hogtied him with duct tape and extension cords, and put a plastic bag over his head. After handcuffing him to a grab rail in the bathtub and left him there to die .

It may have started out as a drug deal, and something went wrong.

Im thinking noone here knows too much of the people involved. I can tell you that Tiffany has been questioned and had a poly graph scheduled for yesterday. I wonder what the time frame of the results for take.

I am having these exact thoughts. Yes, the mom is grieving, I'm pretty sure we've ALL said how sad we are for her. However, she does not need to be going on blaming everyone but JC for what happened. It's one thing to say they didn't deserve it and they died too young, but to try and turn the tables on LS because you're claiming JC had no enemies and it couldn't have had anything to do with him. Give me a break.
I also agree about her blabbing to the news outlets. She should be working with LE to give them any information she can. Going on national television adding more info than was already provided is not making her seem very credible!

The act of murder is aggression. You emphasized "tightly".
I was responding to "binding". Bound limbs.
So if I am to understand your point, if the tape around their necks was "loose", it would not have been considered an aggressive act - in your opinion?
