I've thought that many times as well regarding Johnny saying there was a safe when in fact there wasn't.

Also, I think it's silly how much credence people have been giving to people being "friends" on Facebook. Just because someone is on my friends list, doesn't mean I call them, talk to them regularly, hang out with them, etc. There are people on my friends list that I haven't seen or spoken with for over 10 years.

I am in the area and have not seen any sort of revolt or anything going on. I was really looking forward to the local news last night when they reported they were going to be discussing the latest in the investigation, however there was no latest. The only people talking are the family/friends of LS and JC.

I'm not exactly sure how the people of Toledo would get the police to come out with a presser, but if anyone has any suggestions I'm sure someone here would try and pursue it!

The problem/worry is that this is not being handled by the city's large and experienced Detective Bureau but by a tiny Detective Bureau run by the Sheriff's Dept, which normally deals only with traffic and running the local jail, and where appointments made are usually political at the Sheriff's discretion. I am only hoping that the two (?) detectives in their Bureau are up to the task.

As for how the populace feels, bear in mind that each day's newspaper contains reports of shootings, woundings, murders, bodies found here and there, etc. It is hard to keep up and follow it, for the average person.

No. Nothing. Well, one local news station did ask a couple of days ago that anyone who knew Lisa & was willing to talk about her contact the station. I didn't see any comments from anyone willing to do that. There was one woman who commented numerous times that the media should stay out of it & leave it to LE. She blamed the media for ruining past murder investigations.

I said this earlier and I still believe it: Maytee made her post invisible to the Justice for JC&LS administrator and then they blocked her for doing that, then Maytee started the other page and blocked them from her page, so maybe this is a little retribution? Seems like the Administrator of that page is capable of doing things like that, I watched posts disappear right before my eyes last night...

It was said last night in the news that Toledo Police are now involved in the investigation. Not sure if that was said anywhere on here yet.

My frustration lies with the local media. You stand outside the sheriff's department if phone calls are going unreturned and wait for Detective A or Detective B to leave and ask them for an update. At this point I would be satisfied with a "no comment at this time" from LE. At least local media would actually then give the impression they are investigating this news item.

so is it true the admin is the person who created Facebook page and also why cant the people at Facebook deactivated the account because of all this. I would be kinda upset if someone I didnt know created a RIP page about one of my family members even if it was out of the kindness of their heart. I feel safe in this forum unlike I ever did in Facebook. Even when I tried to make things private (IN Facebook) not all things were private, you know. You have to give Facebook several things about yourself to register and I found my birthdate and email add was listed. NO WAY TO HIDE IT ..even when I made it private. That is why this forum is great. Private and Safe. I know LC and D arent going to post my birthdate or private email add. Also I believe Facebook also knows if you are trolling someone page. As all the sudden, you will get things like you may want to be friends with this person or that...and was just looking at maybe a friend of friend's page. I admit, I am a Hater of Facebook but a Lover of Mock Forums. LOL
