Well I'm a 3rd generation south ender too & I will knock the city LOL I grew up in the Western/Broadway/South area & hightaled my ass right outta there as soon as I could. Had the opportunity to move back over there a couple of years ago when my dad passed & I was given the option to take over his house. I didn't & within months it was stripped. They even took the bathtub!

You say Heatherdowns is a good area? False! That's where I moved & have lived in this area for 10+ years now. I lived at Hidden Cedars Condos & it got so infested with drugs & gang bangers there that I decided to move. The morning of my move I woke up to a 6'0 tall 300+lb mexican dude standing in my bedroom doorway at 6am. :O

Moved that same day but stayed in the general area. Heatherdowns/Reynolds/Glendale. It's NOT a good area. You must have missed the riot with gun fire that happened at Southwycke Lanes a couple months ago? & that same night the 17 year old kid that was shot in the back just a couple of blocks down from there? & the shots fired at the teen dance club less than a mile from there in Maumee? What about the motel that was torn down on the corner of Heatherdowns/Reynolds a few years ago because it was infested with drug dealers & prostitutes? It's gotten to the point where I can't walk to the store in the daylight in the summer without being solicited for money or being approached by a creepy old man who wants to "give me a ride"

To sum it up... Toledo is a shit hole IMHO

I can back you on all that. Toledo has been going down hill for quite some time now. It is a shit hole and all the suburbs around it are turning into shit holes too. JMO.

ACUTALLY, the coroner said, "neither had any other significant injuries."

 INJURIES, not marks.

This could mean that there were other injuries, but none that were significant enough to be the cause of death.

Then I'm wrong about speculating about other, serious, injuries. If he was telling the truth, there were no baseball bat beatings or cut tongues, either.

NO u didn't do anything wrong. It actually means that u have been behaving yourself. LC and Duchess havn't had to give you a warning about anything yet.

He may have been fun and nice to those he liked and cared for but he was involved in an armed robbery and went to prison for it. That doesn't mean "good kid" in my book. It means troubled, at the very least.

 an inaccurate transcript? Anyone know?

Would Johnny's dad say "We can see the people?" Were both
male and female on the same cell?

Or is this some sort of creative editing by CNN?

 Copied from CNN......
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: You need to get the police out to Longacre Lane! My son is in the basement, tied up with a towel (ph). I just saw him through the window. The police were (EXPLETIVE DELETED) earlier and did absolutely nothing!
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: I ripped off the bag off my son`s head.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: (INAUDIBLE) both of them tied up (INAUDIBLE) bags on their heads!
UNIDENTIFIED MALE: And went to her and did the same.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Both cell phones are on the ground, and we can see the people. Him and his girlfriend are tied up in the basement!
I believe that's correct, however I've had trouble finding that 911 call for awhile .. I heard it, early on, though. Does anyone have the link to it? I don't THINK it's included with the 'links thread' ... I looked the other night

The link to 911 calls is Toledo On the Move...http://www.toledoonthemove.com/news/story.aspx?id=576342

The instructions were to cut down to the salient point of the quote to which one responds. There was no directive to cut down on responses. As a matter of fact, the criticism was directed against persons who were quoting long sections only to respond with one-word comments.

We are supposed to be speaking for ourselves instead of merely dragging along excessive baggage of prior speakers.
