The raid supposedly took place at MM's sister's house. Not sure if the sister lived in base housing or off-base. When my husband was an active duty Marine, we lived in base housing. MY experience was that if the driver had a current military ID for that station, then they would just let you through. When I had friends and family visit, they never checked any of their ID's. It really depends on the base and the security level as to whether or not they check ID's.
I think the sister lives on base and her husband is away on active duty.

I think it was Curious that said "Going back in time, doesn't it seem odd that TW who is/was living with Mr. Z, reportedly JC's BFF, has not met Maytee until the night of the murders? On top of that, why would TW have to call Sarita (sp?) to get in touch with Maytee if she was, according to her own account, with his BFF...one would think he would have her number. Lastly, I find it odd that JC, Sr. would get a ride to the Straub's home from the very person Maytee would accuse minutes later of setting her son up for murder...idk, more random thoughts that I can't find a logical explanation for..."
I've wondered the same thing...plus - if I put my self in Maytee's situation (God forbid) and from a sound sleep get a call from my cousin (Serita) telling me she got a call from a girl named T and T was worried and on her way to pick up Serita and Jsr to Lisa's house - I would have thanked T - not blamed her for it...very wierd... I think Maytee didn't have any tears because she has been all cried out... that sheriff must have really gotten an ass chewing for the words he chose because he "retired" immediately after... anyone else notice when Lisa's uncle talks he always refers to "Lisa's" death or "Lisa's struggle" whatever...never says "their death" or refers to Johnny in any way...

The possibility is huge that her family blames Johnny for ALL of this. I think I probably would too if I were in their shoes. Sorry, but it is what it is. *shrugs*

Unless TW and Mr. Z have left the city, sounds to me like LE has fully cleared them.
LE wouldn't be waiting for TW to give birth so they can run a lie detector test on her if she'd been cleared.
True, but the one article stated LE believed the perps had left the area. I'm assuming TW is still in the area.

James Schiavone made a number of comments at the trustees' Feb. 21 meeting that were speculative or inaccurate. Among them, Sergeant Schiavone said the deaths of Miss Straub, 20, and her boyfriend, Johnny S. Clarke, 21, were "professional" hits, that both victims had "serious drug problems, gang connections, and everything else," and that he would be surprised if those responsible for the slayings were ever arrested.

Does anyone else think it's strange, that Maytee was on the news the same day as Lisa's uncle? Maybe it was just a coincidence.
