I decided on Feb 28th to call the Lucasville police department to express my concern as to why there have been no arrests. The Sgt replied in almost a low hushed voice "I know ma'am, we're trying, but it's difficult when we don't have any leads." I was floored, angry, and disappointed. The next day the Sheriff made a public statement. I don't know about the rest of you, but I feel this department should be enudated with phone calls and emails until something happens. I believe if I was one of the parents of those two lovely kids, I'd camp outside LE's door until I get some answers.
I'm assuming, and hoping you meant Lucas County Sheriff or Holland Police? If there has been a murder in Lucasville (where ever that is) that could be the problem.

Teens And Duct Tape Are Drug Smugglers’ Latest Tactic

Looks like Duct tape has gone from helping conceal drugs on the body to grabbing it for another use. Like when the mule shows up with the goods, first you untape them. Then when they want payment you just tape them back up.

If you truly called the Lucasville police department, I am not surprised that they have no leads. They are probably not even aware of the case. Did you mean the Lucas County Sheriffs department?
Yes I truly called department responsible for handling this investigation. This is a serious matter, no occassion to try and be cute.

And then I HID my duct tape! lol Am I the only one who now finds these items unsettling to have in their home??? Or am I just losing it....

I'm curious about the cardboard boxes seized as evidence and the interband pants, which I've always wondered if they were of a type a pregnant person might wear? Wasn't it also rumored that JC was found without a shirt on?

I know what you're talking about but I have no idea where to find it. I'm sure they would have questioned people at Friday's.

"I've been reading for a while and have decided to post a comment. An associate of mine who is close friends with the Straub family said that they (the Straubs) were at their wits end with Lisa and that they allowed Johnny to stay at their house because it would be easier for them to keep an eye on their daughter. I was also told that Maytee tried to get money from the Straubs in some elaborate scheme months before the murders. Also, a friend of mine who works in the restaurant business says some of the cooks (who purchased drugs from Johnny) were talking about how Johnny owed a lot of money (she didn't specify) for pills and cocaine. While obviously this is just heresay at this point, it is something to consider."
fyi, I found it by doing a search for the word "restaurant"

THANKS, to LC for defending the men and women who serve and protect all of our communities daily. I think those of us related to members in law enforcement were quietly stewing at the consistent, and grossly reckless opinions being stated about law enforcement as a whole. Especially the misinformation being put out their in reference to local officers who are working hard to solve this horrific crime that we all are discussing. Granted, there are bad apples in every occupation but this is magnified when it deals with law enforcement but has absolutely nothing to do with this case. Because these men and women are held to a higher standard within our communities. I believe with the recent press release, it is obvious to surmise that this Sergeant spoke on behalf of himself and was out of line (A Bad Apple). He obviously did not speak for those who are involved in this case or even had any pertinent information that was factual. His remarks not only damaged his department, but likely infuriated and hurt the families. It is apparent he stands alone with his irresponsible remarks. Happy retirement!
We have an innate curiosity as to this case, which fuels our minds with theories so that speculation and possible facts may create better picture of this trivial puzzle. We (the general public) are not entitled to every bit of information/evidence gathered by detectives during an ongoing investigation. I think we can all agree that there is a lot more, that we all do not know in terms of evidence. Which I am totally fine with, because it only assists the cause of law enforcement to do their jobs without any hindrance. The only people who have the true “inside scoop” are investigators who are working on the case. Which should really worry the uneducated low life’s who committed this crime. Not making consistent public statements proves to me that these officers are working hard to solve this case, and not worried about their 15 minutes of fame. I respect that as much as I do the family who has taken the high road in this case!
As for the hysterical rants of someone accusing this forum of undermining justice for these victims on another site. I beg to differ with that irrational opinion. For the most part, I believe this forum has been a productive resource for many of us. It is obvious that many members who have participated in this discussion (except for a few) take great care in respecting the nature of this investigation, the victims, and their families. The occasional joke is okay to relieve a little tension or monotony as well. We all need the break from the chaos.
I have yet to see someone on Mock go into an irrational tirade about vengeance or bluntly make false accusations against innocent persons who may or not may be involved in this particular crime. There has been more than a fair amount of neutral behavior and respect as to facts over drama. Public records speak for themselves! The grass is definitely greener on Mock that it is on those ridiculous facebook pages begging for attention and making invalid threats instead of focusing on their false claims of wanting justice!

Would that be moi? How easily I am forgotten Yes I'm still here, I mostly just post to call people out on their bullshit crazy ass insane theories, until some more factual information is released that we can all pick apart & beat to shit. lol
It was I who posted that my brother works at a restaurant/pub here in town & the FBI contacted his boss to get info on a particular individual who was working at this establishment at the time of the murders & seemed to have inside info the day of the murders. It was also I who stated that my brother had a conversation with a friend of a detective working this case.
I have no new info.

but I must have missed something...what did the friend of the detective say?
I think there are no solid leads.... some of this just doesn't add up. ALOT of it just doesn't add up. It seems like Stooksbury is saying they don't have a motive. seems wierd to say that.

I'll say it again just so I don't get shit for being a hypocrite lol This is 3rd party info The friend of the detective told my brother pretty much what others who claim to have insider info have stated. DC comes to mind off the top of my head, that Lisas condition was worse than what was officially stated. This is where the tongue cutting or cut out came from & also he told my brother that she was sexually assaulted. I can't bring myself to use the word rape. Especially if I don't know for certain if it's true.
I know there have been some people who keep talking about the knives that were seized as evidence & the assumption that JC or LS must have stabbed one of the perps. I haven't argued this but if true that Lisa had cuts or her tongue was cut out... This may be why the knives were taken into evidence. This may also indicate that any blood found in the house may not belong to the perps at all.
