Johnny S. Clarke & Lisa Straub- young Ohio couple murdered
(03-25-2011, 07:45 PM)Snoopy Wrote: Forgive me if someone already asked this, I do try hard to keep up! But I am very curious if this ex- boyfriend, that robbed the Straub home before, was charged or convicted for this robbery ? If he was not charged, but people suspected he was the one who robbed the Straub home of this large sum of cash, why in the world would he be allowed to be at the funeral?
Once again, forgive me if I missed this and fell behind... Off to work now..

I recall it being said that he broke into their home and, maybe, even assaulted Lisa. However, I never saw that substantiated. I think there is a record of his having been ordered to take anger management classes.

Good question - I didn't see any robbery charges on him but, his family maybe was aquainted with Lisa's family - and possibly his family were invited to the funeral - I believe this funeral was by invitation only. I also believe he did time at CCNO that is Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio - the puzzle is if his family was fairly affluent why would he rob the Straubs? Unless he's a bit of a bum. It struck me very strange why he was even at the funeral.
IMO

44 I guess I did, didn't I lol..... I can't really answer any of your questions though. I've never been to or even driven past the Straubs to know where doors are located. I do remember someone saying that it was a 3 car garage, if that matters? The facts & links sticky has 3 aerial photos of the straub residence. Front of house, side of house with garage & back of house. You could try to blow those photos up if you were interested. I tried but my eyesight isn't good enough to determine if there's a back door or not.

Actually the garage is attached to the house. That garage is in the front. There is a sliding glass door in the back but it goes into like a sunroom. They did go to the back but what alot of people from this area dont understand is that all the snow had melted so there wouldnt have been footprints anyways. I have always wondered if Tiffany had looked in the windows like she said she did and also stated seen the door upstairs was open why she didnt see anything else. If my timeframe is correct she didnt go there right away and IMO this was a fast and furious crime. If she was able to see that she should have been able to see something. Im not a criminal but I cant imagine doing that crime and hanging around. There had to have been at the minimum two people. I would guess they were at the house a max of 30-45 minutes. Max

If you go to the beginning where it shows the police at the house you will see the front.

She never did call his mother. Go backto the very beginning. Read the 911 transcripts or listen to them. Go thru Mock and see Tiffanys own words and changes in her story. IMO once again.... She is behind this .... I dont even think the so called phone calls actually happened like that.

This crime makes me sick to my stomach!! I'm on Mock reading and posting and all I can think about is how two people were BRUTALLY murdered for no reason. Yes, we have read of scales and baggies, gang members, retaliations against snitches but does anyone deserve to die in a manner such as this? NO! I pray for the day that these animals are caught and put behind bars or given the death penalty and they will be caught. Unlike the rich who can afford 5 or 6 defense attorneys these low lifes will probably get a public defender who will give it his/her all to gain noteriety.

Ok, I found the photos and honed in as much as possible.
The driveway is on the right of the house as one looks at it.
The cars drive in and can go straight to a turn around or
make a left into the garage.
It almost appears that there is a door to the right of the
big garage door.
The garage is huge and I am wondering if it is always
closed.
I see the sun room at the far end of the back of the home.
Thinking....
Nothing could be seen through the sun room doors given where
the deeds were done.
Nothing could be seen through what appears might be a
back door to the right of the garage.
If the garage door was down, it would be easy to park in the
turn around and then enter what might be an outside (side of
the house) door.

The point of this exercise was to try to figure out where the
perps went in the house. I still can not figure out. Darn you

ideas.

Wolfhouse I like your post. You have a keen mind, very intuitive. Like me your interest lies with the actual crime. I know that the everday traffic went thru the garage. If "they" were leaving to pick Tiffany and her friend up then in one story Tiffany heard "who are you what do you want?" then some unaudible with shock and panic in Johnnys voice but I have always wondered if this version is her real version then why did'nt she hear Lisa? Even if you go to her other version which is basically the same but Johnny said he would all Tiffany back where is Lisas voice in the back ground? Do you know what I mean?

I have alot of unanswered questions and theories to boot. I think that as unprofessional as I think these murders were I also remind myself that the people who did this obviously had a criminal background. IMO criminals are opportunist. They learn new techniques from every crime they commit. I wonder about the cell phone calls.. If I were a criminal at this day and age I would know about cell phone tracking and pings. I would use my phone to collaborate my story and a possible disposable cell to use also to not ruin my alibi. Remember drug dealers and thugs are notorius for switiching disposable cells. Also a criminals main goal is HOW TO AVOID BEING CAUGHT. They think they are above the law and can outsmart. Please comment

Good Post - What if Lisa made it to the shower before the monster showed up - Johnny was maybe left in the kitchen - who mentioned awhile back Lisa liked to shower after the restaurant? Some-one knew the layout of this house I think. Could they have hidden a vehicle at the school and jumped the fence? I agree with you fast and furious was this awful deed. Did he use bare fists to punch holes in the walls? my gosh you'd have some bruised up knuckles - anyone out there notice anyone with banged up knuckles? or did they use something heavy to punch holes. Who mentioned these holes in the wall anyway? Just keep your chin up concerned! LE will get the Devil that done this!

If I was on the phone withmy friend, heard what she did and also a struggle happen then the phone went dead. I would have called back like Tiffany said she did and if I got no reply I would have called 911. Also, all the pictures of them with their friends how was it that she didnt get any of them to go over there with her? Why only her and her young friend. Young people like drama and young men are usually right there if they think one of their buddies are in trouble and ready to fight. Ya know.

I had always just assumed that they went in through the garage. I suppose that's because of T.W.s story about the phone calls. The way she relayed things, it seemed as if Johnny came upon this person or people (although IMO T.W. has made it seem like one person) by surprise. No knock on the door or ringing of door bell. The story was that Johnny was on his way out when he said X,Y,Z bro or let me call you back Tiff, or whatever version you choose to believe. In my mind I've just always seen them enter through the garage. Because if Johnny did happen upon them while leaving, why would he be exiting the house out of the front or back door when the car was I assumed to be, in the garage. Now that I see the loop around I suppose they could have had the car in the front by the front door.

One thing I found interesting & had not realized before was how close the houses seem to be to eachother. It's just amazing to me that no one heard or seen anything. It being a Sunday night & the fact that it was so bitterly cold that night I'm sure didn't help but for some reason I thought the houses were spread much farther apart then they actually are.
