While I do enjoy the French cooking style, they pretty much suck in every other way. France looks out for France. Once in awhile they pretend to help others, but only if they will benefit.
Did you know the French were on the German/Italian side at the beginning of WWII? Most people forget that. Look up Operation Torch of 1942. We made them switch sides.
The French and Italians had Jewish concentration camps before the Germans did in Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria. They also had camps on the French mainland for Gypsies, Spanish, and Armenians.
Even though the French and British are supposed to be handling Libya, they are whining already and want us to do it all, as usual: With the imperialist-led assault against Libya into its third month, Paris and London are escalating airstrikes in a drive to kill head of state Moammar Gadhafi. Rather than taking the lead in combat operations, as it did during the opening weeks, Washington since early April has focused on air surveillance, flying 25 percent of all missions. U.S. aerial drones are flying over Libya, including armed drones unleashing Hellfire missiles. French foreign minister Alain Juppé is pressing Washington to once again play a bigger role.
Never trust the French. We should know that by now.

Is the unrest going to be over if they/we kill Gadhafi? We don't think ahead.

Bite your tongue. That sounds suspiciously war-like and everybody knows we're not in a war over there.

No it won't be over it will just be starting, there is more to Libya than meets the eye and more at stake than getting rid of Gadaffi.
Obama is nation building only the nations he wants to build include the Muslim Brotherhood.
we already have an example, but let me ask usedup if she can name it before I do.
usedup, which middle eastern country shows what form of governments Obama wants in the middle east?
here is a clue, the people who took over the country after the unrest there are Muslim Brotherhood.

You think there is any truth in this?:
It is now widely belived that Libya air strikes are an advert for France's badly-selling Rafale jet fighter. Dassault spokesman: 'the Rafale is the only aircraft in the world which has an omnirole - it can do air combat, bombardment, observation'.
But looking in detail at French operations in Libya, military analysts have also said that France is using the war to promote its badly-selling €60-million-per-unit Rafale fighter. Rafale jets fired the symbolic first shot against Gaddafi , destroying four tanks on the outskirts of Benghazi. The strike took place three hours before the US and UK began bombarding Gaddafi anti-aircraft bases, with the French ministry of defence swiftly posting a set of Rafale pictures on its website.

And let's go ahead and say it: France, the UK, and Italy get 15-22% of their crude oil from Libya (85% of Libya's oil goes to Europe). Because you know every war HAS to be about oil:
Here’s a breakdown of how much oil various countries import from Libya (in barrels per day) and the percentage of a country’s total crude imports supplied by Libya.
_Italy: 376,000 (22 percent)
_France: 205,000 (16 percent)
_China: 150,000 (3 percent)
_Germany: 144,000 (8 percent)
_Spain: 136,000 (12 percent)
_United Kingdom: 95,000 (9 percent)
_Greece: 63,000 (15 percent)
_United States: 51,000 (0.5 percent)
_Austria: 31,000 (21 percent)
_Netherlands: 31,000 (2 percent)
_Portugal: 27,000 (11 … percent)
_Switzerland: 17,000 (19 percent)
_Ireland: 14,000 (23 percent)
_Australia: 11,000. (2 percent)

I've always enjoyed Paris. Parisians . . . not so much.
Many times I've fantasized about giving it all up, relocating to La Rive Gauche (the left bank of the Seine) and living a bohemian lifestyle.
Then I remember I'm not fond of Parisians and dream of the tropics or the Rockies.
The French get a pass with Tahiti.

Translated that means you have no fucking clue, you just vote for these asshats.
The country is eqypt look up what transpired there and who supported it, take a look at the new government and who supports it.
fucking aye some people just go through life thinking that the Constitution was written to limit the people instead of the government and that it needs to change to be more restrictive of the people and more liberal to the government.
that would be you usedup.

French Canadian or just French? Your elitism is an inherited trait.
I have a few French friends. Not many. You have to admit most French (commies, haha) don't have a big love of Americans, either. You can tell the ones that like Americans because they have cowboy boots. Sometimes their cowboy boots have zippers, but the general idea is there.

I can't say because now I'm sorry I said anything at all.
