At just 22 inches tall, Chandra Bahadur Dangi will tomorrow be officially named the world's smallest man by Guinness World Records.

Dangi, 72, left his home in a isolated Nepalese village to fly to the capital, Kathmandu, to be measured by Guinness World Records officials tomorrow.

He said: 'I feel good that I will be declared the world's shortest man.'

Dangi claims he has never taken any kind of medication or been examined by a doctor. Dangi spends his days making placemats and head straps for villagers to carry heavy loads on their backs.

A naked woman stomped the windshield of John Knight, 25, who lives in San Francisco. Mr Knight estimates the woman weighs 250 pounds, and managed to completely break the windshield.

A council in eastern Victoria has issued a warning about potentially dangerous pine cones falling from a tree in the town of Warragul.

The 120-year-old heritage-listed bunya pine in the grounds of the Courthouse Hotel has been dropping huge pine cones.

The Baw Baw Council says they weigh up to 10 kilograms each.

Mayor Diane Blackwood says the cones are potentially lethal.

"These things are enormous," she said.

"They are the size of a watermelon, falling literally out of the sky from potentially 20 metres high.

"So you wouldn't want to be under one, I tell you."

The area was cordoned off while council workers removed the remaining pine cones.

April 19, a female scooter rider killed a man by squeezing his testicles for the packing dispute, in Haikou City, Hainan Province.
It was learned, the woman, 41 years old, rode on her scooter to an elementary school in Meilan District, Haikou City to pick up her child that day. When she wanted to pack her scooter in front of a shop, she was rejected by the shop owner, a 42-year-old male.
The two parties soon fell into a quarrel, and then the physical confrontation. The furious woman called up her husband and brother to come help her, which resulted in a more violent fist fight.
During the fight, the middle aged woman manged to grab the man’s testicles, and squeezed them till he finally collapsed on the ground.
The man was immediately rushed to hospital, but unfortunately died there despite of efforts.

That kinda made me squirm a little. Damn.

Thats funny, but she has a point. The digital copyright law demands her permission to post her picture on a site like that. Since the woman didn't hire the photographer, its her picture (she owns the copyright and first repro rights) and she has legal grounds to harass the owners of the site and the server if necessary to get the pic removed.

With a good lawyer compensation could be added as an incentive. PI harassment needs to be discouraged in any form it appears imho.
