No, i never said you were evil or lost, but you can pray for many reasons.
For example, i have a Republican friend who says she will pray for me because i don't watch Fox News. I don't know how i ended up with all
of these Republican friends. As far as being a hypocrite, yes, i suppose
i am at times. I try to be perfect, though. Also they have job opening
in the Secret Service and I think you would fit in perfectly.
I would like to see you give one compliment a day to someone on Mock
so you can have that warm fuzzy feeling.

Government shouldn't be paying for abortions. I don't think that government should even pay for health care. People without insurance go to the doctor when they NEED to. When somebody else foots the bill like an insurance company or government, people go to the doctor for every little thing or suggestion. Why should I pay for somebody else's hypochondria??
If people had to pay for their own abortions maybe they would have less of them. Maybe less pregnancies too. Condoms aren't too expensive compared to an abortion. With so many STDs out there I'm surprised that anyone is having sex without a condom.

That's just ignorant, especially in this broken health care system. You shouldn't have to give up your house and job because you get sick.
It's a neocon knee jerk to suggest that there shouldnt be universal health care in this country, and btw VERY LITTLE MONEY that flows to PP goes to abortions.
Wish you lefties would become a little more ambidextrous, might make it easier to discuss this without it becoming polarized.
I'll repeat it for the slow and retarded, cutting off PP funding doesn't change the level of abortions around the country (which is minimal) doesn't stop the law of the land from being the law of the land. All it does is prevent women from getting decent healthcare.
It would be nice if you troglodytes could stick to the discussion, which is about what happens when you deny a woman the basic right to health care simply because she cannot afford it, to a stupid morality equation involving abortion equals womenarewhores.
It's quite ignorant.

Let's stay away from the topic of universal health care as well then - if we want to stick strictly to the topic in the OP.
Yes, you are correct. Cutting off tax funding for PP in Arizona does not DIRECTLY affect women's access to abortions. Those tax contributions are NOT used for abortion services anyway.
Reading the OP, the message is clear, imo. Governor Brewer wants to weaken PP because it is the largest abortion provider in the country. She is anti-abortion and she is making a strong political statement. Although the state tax dollars don't fund abortions, they strengthen PP's ability to operate as a whole (which includes their abortion services operations). In order to propopate her anti-abortion agenda and weaken PP, she is denying a large group of women access to birth control, female testing, and family planning education services. In so doing, she is robbing Peter to pay Paul imo; some or all (or more) of those saved tax dollars will go towards supporting children born of women who were denied PP's birth control and planning services, imo.
Ms. Brewer made this a moral and political issue without regard for female/family health. She is not alone; other states have done the same. While PP is the intended target because it is an abortion provider, it is my opinion that the low-income women and families of the state are the ones who will be hardest hit by the arrow. Ms. Brewer probably doesn't care; she is likely courting the hard core money conservatives. She is a short-sighted political dipshit, imo.

Neo Conservative. Y'all tried to subvert the government under the Bush/Cheney admin. Made some progress, but bankrupted the country following the greatest budget surplus and peacetime economic expansion in the countries history.
In 2001, President George W. Bush inherited a surplus, with projections by the Congressional Budget Office for ever-increasing surpluses, assuming continuation of the good economy and President Bill Clinton’s policies. But every year starting in 2002, the budget fell into deficit. In January 2009, just before President Obama took office, the budget office projected a $1.2 trillion deficit for 2009 and deficits in subsequent years, based on continuing Mr. Bush’s policies and the effects of recession. Mr. Obama’s policies in 2009 and 2010, including the stimulus package, added to the deficits in those years but are largely temporary.
Bet you forgot that Bush inherited the LARGEST budget surplus ever from Clinton. Obama inherited a bankrupted nation.
The single biggest instigator to the deficits were the tax cuts. If those ended this year the deficit would be halved.

In 1993, President Clinton and Vice President Gore launched their economic strategy: (1) establishing fiscal discipline, eliminating the budget deficit, keeping interest rates low, and spurring private-sector investment; (2) investing in people through education, training, science, and research; and (3) opening foreign markets so American workers can compete abroad. After eight years, the results of President Clinton’s economic leadership are clear. Record budget deficits have become record surpluses, 22 million new jobs have been created, unemployment and core inflation are at their lowest levels in more than 30 years, and America is in the midst of the longest economic expansion in our history.
In 1992, 10 million Americans were unemployed, the country faced record deficits, and poverty and welfare rolls were growing. Family incomes were losing ground to inflation and jobs were being created at the slowest rate since the Great Depression. Today, America enjoys what may be the strongest economy ever.
Strong Economic Growth: Since President Clinton and Vice President Gore took office, economic growth has averaged 4.0 percent per year, compared to average growth of 2.8 percent during the Reagan-Bush years. The economy has grown for 116 consecutive months, the most in history.
Most New Jobs Ever Created Under a Single Administration: The economy has created more than 22.5 million jobs in less than eight years—the most jobs ever created under a single administration, and more than were created in the previous 12 years. Of the total new jobs, 20.7 million, or 92 percent, are in the private sector.
Median Family Income Up $6,000 since 1993: Economic gains have been made across the spectrum as family incomes increased for all Americans. Since 1993, real median family income has increased by $6,338, from $42,612 in 1993 to $48,950 in 1999 (in 1999 dollars).
Unemployment at Its Lowest Level in More than 30 Years: Overall unemployment has dropped to the lowest level in more than 30 years, down from 6.9 percent in 1993 to just 4.0 percent in November 2000. The unemployment rate has been below 5 percent for 40 consecutive months. Unemployment for African Americans has fallen from 14.2 percent in 1992 to 7.3 percent in October 2000, the lowest rate on record. Unemployment for Hispanics has fallen from 11.8 percent in October 1992 to 5.0 percent in October 2000, also the lowest rate on record.
Lowest Inflation since the 1960s: Inflation is at the lowest rate since the Kennedy Administration, averaging 2.5 percent, and it is down from 4.7 percent during the previous administration.
Highest Homeownership Rate on Record: The homeownership rate reached 67.7 percent for the third quarter of 2000, the highest rate on record. In contrast, the homeownership rate fell from 65.6 percent in the first quarter of 1981 to 63.7 percent in the first quarter of 1993.
7 Million Fewer Americans Living in Poverty: The poverty rate has declined from 15.1 percent in 1993 to 11.8 percent last year, the largest six-year drop in poverty in nearly 30 years. There are now 7 million fewer people in poverty than there were in 1993.

1998 the year of the phony.
69 billion surplus
99 billion taken from SSI fund.
You see Ma, this is what happens when you don't do your own work and you just rely on the liberal talking points.
You place your own ass firmly into your own mouth and it tastes like shit.
couple this to the decimating of our military under Clinton and the subsequent need for them and let me know how the numbers work out for you.
The congressional record is full of approriations bills to bring our military back to life, it is also full of democrat pork tied to every bill since they were firmly in control at the time.
Research it dufus.
