Do you have a living will?
#1
If yes, what are the stipulations?

I don't have one at this time but do to recent events I feel I should probably have one. As well as get my will done. You never think about these things until it's almost too late. No one thinks that at our age we have to worry about that stuff. We all think we have plenty of time. We don't.

I do. I used LegalZoom to incorporate my business several years ago and for my will and other legalities. Very good experience for me and all done on-line for a reasonable price.

No, anyone who is close enough to me to have a say knows exactly what I would want.

If I can't get outside under my own power or go to the bathroom by myself pull the plug.

You should have a living will Duchess. It's not enough that anyone that knows you knows what you want. In these types of situations when emotions run high you don't want to leave it up to other people to decide for you and hope they do what you would want.

From my understanding with my grandparents, even with a will a large percentage will go to the lawyer, probate, and any unpaid bills. If you want to avoid that then your kids names need to be on everything. Bank accounts, deeds, stocks, everything. If you can trust them then I guess you did something right, if not then fuck em anyway.

that can vary by state. sometimes it may be only 1/3. but you cannot disinherit a spouse like you can your kids.

but living wills aren't about estates.

I just realized this said living will, my mind was on my money and not my last days spent with a breathing tube. I think as long as you have a power of attorney that knows your wishes then they can say to pull the plug or not.

Or you could say "Matilda I want to look at my gun one more time, bring it in here"
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

Well not FOREVER. That was an exaggeration. But you know what I mean. You could live in a vegatative state for years. Just look at Dickly. Smiley_emoticons_wink

Rams, it's vegetable and vegetative, you silly wingnut. Although I did discover that there's a company that makes Veg-tables.

Are you tired again today?
