Joe The Plumber? Are you fucking serious?

There's a real person that ID's himself that way? wtf does he mean "gun control"??

http://now.msn.com/now/0619-joe-the-plumber-holocaust

Sam "Joe the Plumber" Wurzelbacher hates gun control, and in a new campaign ad as part of his Ohio Congressional bid says that the real cause of the Holocaust was Germany's restrictions on firearms enacted in 1939. Wurzelbacher proudly opines in front of a backyard shooting range that "In 1939, Germany established gun control. From 1939 to 1945, six million Jews ... unable to defend themselves were exterminated." Scouring the video's YouTube page for a positive reaction to the ad is like trying to find a bullet in a haystack, but at least one commenter was nice enough to apologize to all Americans on behalf of the Ohio population. It's OK, we won't hold one guy against you. But tell Sam the law was passed in 1938, not 1939.

It wasn't just Jews. Russia should be more pissed than they are.

Joe the plumber was a propaganda tool a couple elections ago, remember? Some Presidential candidate I can't be bothered to look up used him to represent some sort of "everyman " principal that candidate pretended to represent. IIRC it backfired horribly and came off as staged, phony, and self-serving. I know, shocking behavior from political candidates...now that guy's been trying to cash in on the fifteen minutes he got ever since.

EDIT: never mind, I think I'm mixing up pop culture memories. This guy started as a disgruntled questioner of Obama's tax plan, and THEN got some attention from conservatives over the following weeks.

I think it was McCain and Palin who swept up Joe the Plumber after he put Obama on the spot at some public venue. He's now an "activist" I believe and ran for office in his state.

I think he's a bit nutty, but a least he didn't sleep with anyone to gain his star status (as far as we know).

A little plumbers crack is one thing, but massive plumbers crack is another.

Isn't it maggot?
Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.

Someone just put a can of gravy outside my door.

Should I open it? I'm having mashed on the side with dinner tonight.
