Rampant Abuse and Murders of Children
I will never understand how a person can hurt a child. They should get a mandatory life sentence and suffer the same torture they inflicted on the child. The death penalty is too kind for them.

CORAL SPRINGS (CBSMiami) – A nearly two-month old baby, who was at the center of an Amber Alert, has been found dead in the trunk of a car in Coral Springs, according to police.

Lt. Joe McHugh said the body was found Friday afternoon, hours after an Amber Alert was issued for Josiah Saintil, who turns 2 months old next week.

The car was found in a parking lot at 11000 Royal Palm Boulevard on Friday afternoon. Video from Chopper 4 showed police officers surrounding the car.

McHugh said the child’s father, 24-year-old Janus Saintil, is in custody but no other information has been released.

According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office and the Port St. Lucie Police Department, Saintil, of Deerfield Beach was with two women, another man and the baby around 7 p.m. Thursday enroute to a North Lauderdale Walmart when he became angry and pulled out a gun.

One of the women was the baby’s mother.

Cody, left, and Felicia Beemer, right, are accused of raping their daughter, one, and videoing it on a cellphone - which also contained 532 images of child bestiality

A woman whose daughter was murdered while in foster care in 2009 is now, along with her husband, accused of raping another daughter during a supervised visit at the Trumbull County Children Services Center.

Felicia and Cody Beemer both pleaded innocent to rape charges in Warren Municipal Court on Friday.
they are also accused of rape of another relative's 18-month-old child.

Allegations are that the couple raped their 1-year-old, biological daughter during what was supposed to be a supervised visit at the Children Services Center on Reeves Road in Warren.

"The child is and has been in the custody of Children Services and during a scheduled visitation they are alleged to have raped the child," said Warren Law Director Greg Hicks.

Family members discovered the rape when they found images on a cell phone.

Family members said what is extremely troubling to them is that the rape is alleged to have happened at the Trumbull County Children Services facility, and they thought the little girl was safe there.

The victim's relatives said another child, Tiffany Sue Banks, was beaten to death while in foster care back in 2009.

Tiffany, who was 21 months old at the time, was killed in April 2009. Felicia Beemer and her family had lost permanent custody of Tiffany shortly after her birth. The Trumbull County Children Services Board took custody and placed the baby with foster mother Bonnie Pattinson.

Pattinson pleaded guilty to killing the girl after Tiffany was found bruised and not breathing at her Champion home. Pattinson was sentenced to nine years in jail.

"They should have had somebody in there, in the visits. People need to stand up and help me, before someone else gets hurts in CSB," said the victim's grandmother and Felicia's mother, Loretta Banks.

"I'm pretty upset with Children Services. They take kids and they get a hold of the child and worse things happen to them," said Rex Putnam, a family member.

Sources say Cody Beemer was a juvenile sex offender, and the couple went through parenting classes before being allowed the visits. Children Service's officials said they are cooperating with prosecutors.

Felicia and Cody Beemer are being held in Trumbull County Jail on $250,000 bond. The investigation is continuing and additional charges could be filed.

They are due back in court next week.

RIVER FALLS, Minn. -
A source has told FOX 9 News that the three sisters who were found dead inside their River Falls home suffered serious physical harm.

Investigators found the fireplace on inside the home, along with an odor of gas and flammable liquid in the basement, but those are not believed to have killed the three young girls.

Aaron Schaffhausen, 34, is expected to be charged on Thursday in connection with his daughters' slayings.

Police say the girls' mother got a call from Schaffhausen on Tuesday, asking to see the girls. He came to the home, and the babysitter left. Later, he called his ex-wife to say he had hurt their children.

"The call came to the River Falls Police Department from mom that dad had contacted her and said he harmed the children," said River Falls Police Chief Roger Leque.

As police were gearing up to search for Schaffhausen, he turned himself into the police station -- but he wasn't very talkative.

"The demeanor of the individual was, from my observation, not saying much of anything," Leque said.

Police have not said whether or not Schaffhausen has made a confession in the killings, but previous claims of harassment and threats have begun to surface.

FOX 9 News dug through documents and found that Aaron Schaffhausen and his wife, Jessica, divorced in January. The papers were filed jointly, but there are a few signs that the dissolution of the marriage didn't spell the end of trouble for the couple.

"River Falls police records indicate there was a domestic incident in August 2009 at the Morningside residence, and a March 2012 harassment incident where the father allegedly threatened to harm at least one of the children," Leque confirmed.

The March incident refers to a phone call made by Aaron Schaffhausen as he was living in Minot, North Dakota; however, The Minot Police Department's report shows that the threats were made against his wife, not the kids. No charges were ever filed.

Officers in Minot told FOX 9 News they spoke with Schaffhausen, who said he had no intention of going back to Wisconsin.

At this point, it's still unclear what changed between March and July; however, what is clear is that the crime scene was horrific.

"I can tell you, I've been in River Falls for over 34 years and certainly, this is the worst we've seen," said Leque.

The community is reeling from the killings, and grief counselors have been made available to students of Greenwood Elementary School, where 11-year-old Amara and 8-year-old Sophie were supposed to be joined by 5-year-old Cecilia Lee this fall.

Aaron Schaffhausen, 34, showed up for a surprise visit on Tuesday, thrilling his daughters Amara, 11, Sophie, 8, and Cecilia, 5, who dragged him upstairs to show him their toys.

Several hours later his ex-wife Jessica received the chilling phone call: 'You can come home now because I killed the kids.'

You're right. No death penalty here. Worse yet, this crime occurred in Wisconsin and THEY don't have the DP either!

This is all that anyone is talking about in this area. Anyone who's a parent struggles with knowing what those little girls went through at the hands of someone they loved.

Like I said, I just want to puke when I think about it. Put that guy in the Chimp cage, and let's call it a day.

I'm in the Twin Cities and I can testify to that. Horrific. I read that he had threatened to harm one of the girls previously - I wonder what that was all about? I feel for that poor babysitter, too - she must be traumatized as well. I'm curious how he did this. I hope like hell they were unconscious somehow before he slit their throats. It pains me to think those girls knew what their father was doing to them. God, this just breaks my heart.

MADISON, Wis. (WCCO/AP) – A River Falls Police dispatcher says the mother of three slain children was hysterical when she called for help.

Dispatcher Ailene Splittgerber testified at Aaron Schaffhausen’s preliminary hearing Tuesday in St. Croix County... Splittgerber says the call lasted about 40 minutes.
She says Jessica Schaffhausen was crying and hysterical the entire time.

Aaron Schaffhausen never flinched as a police investigator described in horrifying detail Tuesday what he found when he climbed the stairs to three bedrooms to search for Schaffhausen's young daughters.

"I could see that the child was lifeless, no color, dried blood on the face," River Falls, Wis., detective John Wilson said of his first discovery on July 10. He found two other girls in the same condition. All three were tucked in their beds with blankets drawn to their necks, their eyes open.

Forgive my ignorance on this subject, but that means the girls were conscious when they died, right? It makes me sick to think those girls knew what their father was doing to them.
That sick fuck!

He killed the girls, staged this macabre scene, then called the mother to come home. I'm sure he fantasized what her reaction would be, discovering the girls that way. I'm glad she called the police instead of going home.

Updated July 26, 2012 at 12:10 PM CST: Two women are arraigned in court this morning in the case of a three year old child weighing just 12 pounds.

Authorities charged the mother, Beth Williams, and a roommate, Christina Haidle, with endangering the life of a child in the first degree.

Both pled not guilty this morning and were assigned public defenders.

On July 1 authorities found the 12-pound three year old girl unresponsive at a Joplin home and took the child to Freeman Hospital.

The child is now in foster care and is gaining weight.

Updated July 25, 2012 at 11:50 AM CST: A severely malnourished three-year-old who authorities say weighed only 12 pounds is now recovering in the safety of a foster family.

Two Joplin women are charged with child endangerment after a young girl is taken to the hospital with barely a pulse.

Beth Williams, 26, the mother of the three-year-old. Bond for both Williams and her roommate - Christina Haidle, 27 - is set at $500,000.

Their first court appearance is scheduled for Thursday.
bond was set at $500,000

The child was unresponsive when police responded to the Joplin home on July 1. She was first taken to Freeman Hospital then flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

The three-year-old weighed only 12 pounds, was dehydrated and had a number of health problems. Doctors there say the girl's lack of growth was because of lack of nutrition.

She has since been placed in a foster home where the child gained two pounds in the first week.

Posted July 24, 2012 at 4:19 PM CST - Statement from the Joplin Police Department:

On July 1, 2012 Joplin Police were called to 1407 S. Pennsylvania in reference to a 3 year old child who was unresponsive. The child was transported to Freeman Hospital in Joplin from the residence. While at the hospital it was discovered the child was suffering from very low blood sugar BLOOD SUGAR WAS 0. and a low body temperature. The child appeared to be emaciated and suffering from malnutrition. The critically ill child weighed just over 12 lbs and was flown to a hospital in Springfield.

Detectives continued to investigate the case, interviewing medical professionals and those involved in the life of the child. The investigation revealed severe malnutrition of the child with no known medical reason for the growth failure of the child. The mother of the child, Beth A. Williams, 26 years old and a roommate, Christina M. Haidle, 27 years old of 1407 S. Pennsylvania, Joplin, were arrested on July 21, 2012 for Endangering the Welfare of a Child 1st Degree. I know China is over populated, but I read about these kinds of stories all the time and it breaks my heart each time.
Look at this baby, fully grown and formed and they slashed her neck. Poor baby, I hope she makes it, I would totally adopt her if I could, how do people do this to such innocent little babies (I know I say that all the time, still does and always will boggle my mind)

An abandoned newborn baby is recovering in hospital after having her throat cut, being put in a plastic bag and thrown into a garbage bin in China's Liaoning province.
The female baby - so newborn that her placenta and umbilical cord were still attached - was discovered by a man who was searching a bin for recyclables.
Local residents called police and the tiny girl was taken to hospital, where she remains in a critical condition.

A resident who witnessed the girl being taken to hospital said: 'She was still breathing and had a heartbeat. Blood from the wound stained the whole body.'
Doctors worked to close a two-inch wound across her neck, so deep that it went down to her windpipe.

Throat cut: The plight of the unnamed baby has horrified China, despite the incidence of 'guilt children' being abandoned in the nation is still high
A doctor at the hospital said that had the cut been any deeper at all 'she would have died instantly'.
The girl was found in Anshan city, in northeast China.
She is believed to be a victim of the country's notorious one child policy - and seems to confirm the long-held belief that parents upon which this restriction is imposed prefer boys.
Infanticide of 'guilt children' is still a problem in rural areas but it is rare in cities, where children are usually abandoned but not killed.
The baby's fate has horrified China. The girl, who is yet to be named, was spotted when a collectibles scavenger saw what he thought was a dead baby in a bag.
He told police that the child was purple and had not moved until he examined the bag more closely – not convinced that it was a real baby.
Doctors said that baby had been born premature and was probably between 32 and 34 weeks old, weighing just three pounds. Medics said that once the baby had recovered it would be put in a children's home

OXFORD – An Oxford man shot his two young children and then turned his gun on himself Saturday night, killing his 7-year-old daughter and leaving his 9-year-old son in very serious condition with a gunshot wound to the head, according to Worcester County District Attorney.

Daryl Benway, 41, and his daughter Abigail were found dead in the master bedroom of Benway’s 128 Main St. residence by authorities around 5 p.m., said Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.

Owen, Benway’s 9-year-old son, was found in the kitchen and transported to UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center in Worcester in very serious condition, Early said.

Kelleen Benway, Daryl’s wife, came home after the shooting, saw the cruisers and television crews, and was directed to the hospital, where she was informed of the incident. Benway and Kelleen had been separated for three to four weeks, but were still married, Early said.

The incident is under investigation by Oxford police, the State Police assigned to the Worcester DA’s office, and the State Police crime scene unit, according to Early.

Boston Herald
OXFORD — This sleepy central Massachusetts town, stunned and mystified by the news that a well-known father shot his two children and turned his gun on himself Saturday, was struggling to come to grips with the tragedy yesterday.

“Those kids were his world,” said Joshua Rudik, a friend, said about alleged shooter Daryl Benway, 41. “This was a loving, caring family, and we need to wait until all the facts come out. No one knows what really happened yet.”

Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said Benway shot his daughter Abigail, 7, and son Owen, 9, on Saturday afternoon. Abigail died from her gunshot wound. Owen, shot in the head, survived and was listed in serious condition at UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center. Benway fatally shot himself, authorities said.

The Benways’ Main Street home was shuttered yesterday. Family members had posted signs asking reporters to stay away and respect their privacy. Throughout the overcast and somber day, tearful mourners came by to drop off flowers and candles.

“I never, ever, ever thought he could have done something like this,” said an Oxford woman who said she went to high school with Benway. “He was always really friendly and had lots of friends. I just talked to him a few months ago.”

Authorities say Benway and his wife, Kelleen, were in the process of separating. The couple and their children had lived in Benway’s childhood home, which they shared with Benway’s 80-year-old mother and brother.

Efforts to reach Kelleen Benway — who was believed to be at her hospitalized young son’s side — and her family members for comment were unsuccessful yesterday.

My daughter spent some time in Southwest China and in Burma
working with women and children. (I never was allowed to know
exactly what she did.) She said you could not drive down a major
road where she was without seeing a newborn lying on the side of
the road. People have girls and just abandon them either because
they want a boy or because it is a second child or because they
can not afford to feed them. Orphanages drive certain routes
looking for the infants.

Birth control in some areas is not available and politically the
people handing it out get their nfp's shut down. Makes no sense.
