 Take that back right now!

I'm sorry Duchess. But I live in NY so I kinda have to support the team. If it was the Giants vs Eagles I would root for the Eagles.

Well, 2 weeks into the season, and so far these are the storylines that have developed (IMO)...
Giants look shaky, as do the Patriots. Last year's finalists will have to improve significantly if they'd like a return trip to the Super Bowl.

I predicted the Titans would be an up and comer. Well, they suck. I also predicted the Saints would struggle out of the gate, and so far, that looks pretty accurate.

The Eagles are turnover prone, and one significant injury to Michael Vick away from being mediocre. Keeping him healthy is imperative.

Of last year's bottom-feeders, JAX, INDY, MINNY and WASH, the Redskins appear to have the brightest NEAR-future. RGIII is better than I would've thought, and the Skins can beat just about anybody on any given day.

Teams like CHI, DALL, DET, SEA & ARIZ, look like they'll compete for the NFC Wild Card spots.

Atlanta looks better than I was giving them credit for, and I don't think the Panthers are as good as I thought they'd be.

SF looks to be the cream of the crop (NFC), and they're everybody's (media) darling right now. If they stay healthy, their defense should lead them deep into the post-season.

I don't care as much about the AFC, but so far, San Diego looks better than people thought. Oakland sucks more than ever. KC was supposed to be good, and they've been blown out twice.

If I could do it over again, I'd pick HOUSTON to advance to the SB out of the AFC. BALT is still good, and could very well advance, but they just look a little older to me. Maybe that'll change.

Not sure Manning can take DEN to the promised land, and maybe not time to give up on PITT just yet. CICNY isn't very good and neither are the NYJ.

With all that long-winded bullshit, let's move on to Week 3:

 Season Record ATS: 14-16-2

 Tonight's game, I'll take:

 NYG -1

 Sunday's Games:

 San Fran -7
 CHI -7.5
 Tamp +7
 TENN +3.5
 Cincy +3.5
 MIAMI +3
 Kansas City +9
 Buffalo -3
 INDY -3
 ARIZ +4
 Atlanta +3
 DENVER +2
 Pittsburgh -4
 New England +3

 Monday's Game:

 SEATTLE +3.5

You're doing it like the bookies do it. Can't you just do a pick for Mock without the + -? Please & thank you.

These are my WINNERS for Week 3:

Tonight:
New York Giants over CAROLINA

Sunday:
CHICAGO over St Louis
Buffalo over CLEVELAND
DALLAS over Tampa Bay
MIAMI over New York Jets
San Francisco over MINNESOTA
Kansas City over NEW ORLEANS (upset of the week)
WASHINGTON over Cincinnati
Detroit over TENNESSEE
INDIANAPOLIS over Jacksonville
ARIZONA over Philly (I struggled hard with this one, Duch)
SAN DIEGO over Atlanta
DENVER over Houston
Pittsburgh over OAKLAND
New England over BALTIMORE

Monday's Game:
SEATTLE over Green Bay

Actually, 12 of this week's 16 games involve point spreads of 4 points or less, meaning they're all pretty tough to call.

You have my entire division winning their games except for me. How DARE you!

If Michael is defeated by Kevin Kolb I am personally going up to Philly & kicking his ass. It will hurt me if they win. I'll be like a little kid, all pissed, don't talk me & stuff.

My gut reaction to the Eagles-Cards game this week was, "Arizona just beat New England, and they'll have a huge letdown. Plus, the Eagles just pulled out two tough, 1-point wins. Philly should blow 'em out."
After thinking a little more, though, I tend to believe it'll be AZ that has the comfortable win this week. Doesn't mean I don't think Philly won't still contend for the NFC East title, I just think the Cards may be better than people thought.

The Giants won in a big way. I'd even go so far as to say they spanked Carolina. That's all I have to say about them until my game has been played.

Not to go all Homer but the Denver-Houston game looks to be a big game for so early in the season. Denver really needs to rebound from that ugly game Peyton had last week or the questions about his arm wil drown out everything else. And Houston really needs it to attain that next level of legitimacy. It's now or never for them. Nothing less than a Superbowl will be enough at this point, and if they fall short again expect a few years of mediocrity outta H-town.

Good to hear the Giants won. I was listening to the game on an AM radio station last night and the game got to fuzzy to listen to in the last quarter.

User, your game comes on at 1:00 tomorrow. Can you tell me how that works? Is it airing at 10:00 AM your time? I've never thought about this before.

Shit. I said something bad about Dallas & Washington but I edited it out. I guess I really do believe the NFL gods are watching me. Fuckin' fruit.

Apparently, whoever designs the Vikes uniforms thought it would great to add that gay yellow collar this year.
 Frickin hideous.
