What's ridiculous is to have one of the debaters treating the other debater like he doesn't even belong on the same stage.
But hey, for sheer entertainment the next four years I guess I'd rather have the crazy uncle who can't seem to control himself as vice president.
I'm obama/biden now. Hopefully user will join me.

Joe Biden has never been able to control his mouth. Never. I'm actually kinda surprised he didn't fuck up horribly.

I thought Biden seemed silly and off in facial expression and jibes, but surprised he was so prepared on the topics (and not surprised that he was prepared to do whatever it takes in attempt to discredit the other side after Obama's weak performance and loss of momentum).
It's interesting how different media sources and commentators/pundits/cartoonists have polar opposite views of the VP candidates' performances and who came out ahead; a much closer debate than the first Obama vs. Romney showdown where it was pretty much unanimous that Romney was victorious.

Me too; I think the Democratic Party was probably sweatin' bullets in the days leading up to the VP debate. This pre-debate cartoon made me smile.

That's exactly how his grinning came across.
I honestly don't think I'm going to vote for Romney or Obama although if I decide to pick between the two, I'm leaning towards Romney (too bad I hate him though). Think there's a chance in hell that California will turn red?

I've voted Republican in every election but one since 1984. I don't care for Romney/Ryan at all.

Versus John Kerry and Al Gore? It was easy.
Bush ran on the 'fear of another terrorist attack' campaign, and it worked beautifully for him.
I don't like how R/R are evasive in answering specific questions that are important. They answer with, 'We'll let you know after we're elected.' That's bullshit.
Also, my health insurance premiums have actually stayed the same for the past 2 years. That's something real that affects me. I don't know if Obama gets the credit for it, but when I hear R/R say that middle class people will get crushed under Obamacare, I'm not seeing it.
I also don't see Romney as a great commander-in-chief. I think he's a weasel.
We shall see.

Yes, it is bullshit & a tremendous turn off for me. I can't get past that kind of thing.
I still don't know what I'm going to do. I just can't see me voting for either one of them.

My dad is as 'die-hard' Republican as you can be. He agreed with me that if Clinton were able to run again, he'd be a stone cold lock to crush either of these guys.

What do you think of Hillary Clinton's chances if she were running?

My guess is that most people would assume Bill would give her advice across the board. I think she'd beat Romney right now.

I wouldn't vote for Hillary (right now), but I do remember a lot of comments last year that Hillary should challenge Obama 2012. That would have been a crazy interesting situation, but political suicide within the Democratic Party for her unless she won the Presidency imo.
Who knows? Maybe 4 years from now, we'll be discussing the Romney vs. H. Clinton debates.

Hey, slightly off topic, but I am not sure where to look for this. My husband and I were having a discussion about term limits for the President..2 terms, we get it. But what about term limits for the VP...lets say that Hillary gets the nod in 4 years. Can she ask Joe Biden to be her running mate?

Oh, you mean like this sort of bullshit:
My company provides health insurance to our employees. Since obumblecare was passed, we've seen premium increases of 19%, 14%, and this year was going to be 21%. It's not saving anyone anything, as health care costs are continuing to rise nationwide.
Maybe where you work absorbed the increase and didn't pass it along - I know we used to do that when the increases weren't as steep and we could afford to do it.
I'm not thrilled with R/R, but the alternative has proven ineffective. Time for another change... I hope.

Nope, there are no limits on the number of terms someone can be VP. They only kick in if they ever assume the Office of the President.

Yes, exactly like that & precisely what I had mentally compared it to.
That's the second crack you've taken at me as if you think I support the Dems in some fashion.

Not sure about my first one, but this one wasn't meant as a crack on anything. Just posting the bullshit from both sides of the spectrum.
Besides, I know you love Bill at least

Tonight is the Town Hall Presidential debate in Long Island (9pm EST). Should be interesting to watch the candidates pouring on the charm and interfacing directly with an audience of 80 undecided voters.
After a citizen asks his or her question, candidates will get two minutes each to answer the question, and then if needed, they can go into the topic further. After some controversy, Candy Crowley of CNN will get to ask follow-up questions tonight as moderator, The Washington Post reports.

Each candidate is putting any independant in their crosshairs. It will be them that decide this election. Barry will try to walk the fence on tiptoes, and Mitt will just try and lay back and let Barry stumble so he can jump on it. Neither one wants to get out of the yellow line in the middle of the road.
A few questions I think will be asked:
What are your plans for S.S.
When will we leave Aphganistan
What will you cut to trim the deficit
what would your plans be to curb illegal immigration
with food prices so high do we need ethanol
how long will the fed keep interest rates low.
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.
