I get a laugh when reading some of those sites. Some people are so far out there and they dont even know how far out there they sound.

I had a boss years ago that said ... the smarter we get, the dumber we get. Man was he right!

Prophetic words from your boss!

My acid tests are:-

Did man land on the moon?

Who shot JFK?

Do you believe in the new world order/illuminati?

I invite all members to answer those questions honestly and briefly if possible please.

In fact you should probably put this post in the fight club thread.

That photo of Trayvon is sad especially when I think of it compared to George's bloody nose photo. Really?

Did anyone else hear the Breaking News of one of the Attorneys being fired?

It's very sad.

Thanks for posting it in the evidence/reference thread, Duchess. If anyone wants to see it, it's here:

Are you talking about the IT Specialist who was fired?

Maybe, my mother told me about it so I'm not positive myself. She could have been mistaken.

I was just looking at that photo again & I still cannot believe so many people had a problem with that kid wearing a hoodie on a rainy night. The naysayers all said it pointed to him being a thug. Regardless of the trouble he had recently been in, he wasn't a thug who was raised in a shitty home.

The photo of him lying there dead on the grass is very sad and depressing, the thought of fatso manhandling his corpse after he had shot him boils my piss.

Maybe if fatso had tried manhandling him while he was still alive he wouldn't have felt the need to put a cap in his ass. Fatso had had MMA training and one of the basic things they teach you in MMA is how to fight while you are on your back with your opponent on top.

The other thing that chaps my ass is that G knew or should have known that the police were moments away. And what about those neighbors? If you men (or women) were hearing cries for help, would you stay inside or go try to help?

I would at least have yelled "stop, I'm calling the police" from a safe distance. I dunno...probably not fair to blame them. Maybe it just happened too quickly.

It's all George Bush's fault.

Perception, unfortunately is reality to some.

Ben Kruidbos is an IT Manager who was on administrative leave, not an attorney.

No attorneys in the case were fired.

The jury is asking question about the charge of manslaughter.

ETA: Apparently the question wasn't specific. The judge is asking them to narrow it down.

Dear Judge Nelson:

Did tubbie commit manslaughter when he popped Skittles?

BTW - We think it's funny that you can't have manslaughter without "laughter".

I'm taking that to mean they want to hold George accountable in some fashion if they can.

I read a little about the manslaughter charge - to win a manslaughter conviction, prosecutors must show only that George killed without lawful justification.

Here's what the jury instruction stated (partial):

"In order to convict of manslaughter by act, it is not necessary for the State to prove that George Zimmerman had an intent to cause death, only an intent to commit an act that was not merely negligent, justified, or excusable and which caused death."

"George Zimmerman cannot be guilty of manslaughter by committing a merely negligent act or if the killing was either justifiable or excusable homicide: Each of us has a duty to act reasonably toward others. If there is a violation of that duty, without any conscious intention to harm, that violation is negligence."

I think I can understand why they asked for clarification. Some of this stuff is confusing to me, which should keep me from shooting off my mouth...but doesn't. Smiley_emoticons_slash
