I was talking to a co-worker yesterday, showing him my picks, and we started talking about your Eagles.
He thinks Kelly's offense can be successful and says the Eagles won't be as bad as most people think.
Interesting...

I never think they are going to perform poorly and when they do I am shocked. Every game day I expect to win. I am so psyched for this year. I hope it's as exciting as I expect it to be.

With the salary cap and free agency, the NFL really is all about parity.
I feel there are really only about 3 or 4 teams that really suck and on any given Sunday, the other 28 teams are capable of beating one another.
There are just a handful of elite QB's, and they get the edge over the other clubs, but they can still lose to just about anybody.

I think everyone should know that those fuckin' New York Giants ARE NOT a NY team. They're stadium is in New Jersey and has been for years. New Jersey, bwahahaha.

Things that interest me today:
1. Opening game is my Broncos, who should have beat those dirty playing Ravens last playoffs. At least the shitty Orioles bumped them from their opening day at home hahaha. Bitches.
2. Tebow takes a pass instead of maybe stepping into a starting tight end spot. Interesting. So the two questions are: does he go to Arena league or Jaxonville? And which is the worse career fall?
3. EJ Manuel and Geno Smith get slammed during thedraft as big busts, awful qb pool etc. Both are starting this week. I wanna see what they can do.
4. Bigger predicted collapse: Patriots without their TE'S, SF if and when the league figures out tat-boy, Ballimore without the murderer, or Denver missing Dumerville and half their defense? Fuck you, everyone that said Denver.
5. Biggest train wreck: Jets, Raider s, Bills or Jaxonville?

Tebow could have played TE. He had the athleticism and the brains and the work ethic, he just didn't have the desire to do it. Any boob who thinks that football is some sort of rocket science clearly has not listened to any of them talk. It's fancied up running and catching and hitting: anyone telling you different is an NFL rep or a football zombie.

I don't think all players share the same skill set nor do I think substituting players in roles they aren't suited for works. Chances are my team is going to lose some players that can't manage the new schemes.
Defense is changing in a major way. It's not all about the big guys anymore. Teams are looking for speed & quickness much more than brawn. I was so surprised when I saw some of my players in person, they are average size guys, waaaaay smaller than I had considered.

@Dono... You make some valid points about Tebow. Is he athletic? Sure. Does he have size? Yep. However, I don't believe he has a ton of coordination. He's awkward looking when he throws, and my guess is, he probably has a tough time catching as well.
So, is he Arena League bound, or do the Jags take a shot at him? I think the Jags will pass too.

I agree with some of your picks & others not so much. For example, you're wrong about my team. Wrong!
Peyton was brilliant last night, damn near flawless.

@spy it's true that switching positions is complicated in many cases but the big thing with Tebow was he was a running QB who was a beast and hard to bring down. Playing at Tight end he'd already have the throwing plays memorized, he loved to scramble anyway, was perfectly capable of throwing blocks if necessary and his qb background would make for a very interesting backfield threat with trick plays and whatnot. If you look at the dude in college he was relaxed and much less awkward back there. I'm not a Tebow hawk, I just think the NFL ruined him trying to fit him in a perceived cookie cutter mold of what an NFL qb is supposed to look like, and his own ego shot him in the foot and kept him off the field.

Lightning delay to long to wait and they were still going at it at 1am. I watched the kickoff reciever get creamed. Peyton ties the 7 touchdown stat. He is going to be better than his brother if he isn't already. THEN.........then Danny-boy tosses the ball before he steps over the line. ha!
He ain't heavy, he's my brother.

He's been better than his brother for years.
Eli got those SB's out of pure luck, nothing more & to say any differently would be to say he's a better QB than Tom Brady. Bwahahaha *gasps for air* Bwahahahaha.
