FQ2, you like?
I don't know...the vid is no longer available.
I just posted that and 1 minute later...there she is on Ellen. Her voice isn't anything like what it used to be. I don't know if she sang the song you posted.
I had a 67 year old gay woman at work who let me listen to Annies new CD...I wasn't really impressed at all.

I posted it again. I thought she did a great job. She gave me goosebumps and her audience gave her a standing ovation.

That was great. She sure as hell didn't sound like that on Ellen a few minutes ago...

That nigga should be beat with a metal stick. And he is one, what a fuckface. It's just his thing he does now. It's like a staple to the grammys for this era. 20 years from now people will be saying, remember when that guy used to always rush the stage when he or his hot wife didn't get the award?... That was cool.
I don't know Gunnar.
Some people, like Beck himself -- even after Kanye seriously dissed him after the show for not being a true artist like Beyonce (bitch please) -- say that Kanye's a musical genius. Maybe he is a musical genius -- if so, I don't see/hear it.
Regardless, I appreciate an entertaining entitled off-the-rails asshole more than most. But Kanye's dipshittery being remembered as "cool"? Can't see that happening. I think Yeezus is gonna sink his own ship and drift into irrelevance as an embittered, bigoted, arrogant, divorced blowhard. He'll be nothing but a forgotten stain within the next 10 years, I think. The "that was cool" was a reference to a Chris Farley SNL skit.

Shit, that went right over my head.
Gotta cut me some slack for missing things sometimes, being that I LIVE IN A VAN DOWN BY THE RIVER!
Chris Farley cracked me up. I liked his Chippendales skit too.

Iron Maiden's lead singer, Bruce Dickinson, is undergoing surgery for tongue cancer.

I like him on-stage a lot and he is reportedly a nice and accomplished guy off-stage too -- expert fencer, commercial airline pilot...
The cancer was discovered in early stages in December -- thankfully, the outlook is good for a full recovery according to news reports.

I heard about this a while back and found it odd because Bruce has never been a user of tobacco of any form and always stays in great shape. Eats right, exercises, etc. Cetainly not your average run of the mill "at risk" type of guy.

Also, I've been to more Maiden concerts than any other band (besides my own) I can think of and I've never been to a bad show. They are always spot on tighter than a monkey's ass. Absolute masters of their craft. And no, I'm not a huge Maiden fan boy, it just worked out that way for whatever reason.

The cancer was discovered in early stages in December -- thankfully, the outlook is good for a full recovery according to news reports. Update on Bruce: Iron Maiden's co-manager Rod Smallwood issued a statement on the current condition of vocalist Bruce Dickinson, who is currently battling cancer which was detected back before Christmas. Unconfirmed reports citing comments from drummer Nicko McBrain seem to indicate that Iron Maiden has completed work on a new studio album and has been in a holding pattern on ramping up the hype and excitement for it while Dickinson recovers.
Smallwood's statement reads: "Bruce has asked me to thank everyone for their tremendous support and kind wishes. He has been extremely touched and encouraged by the genuine and affectionate response from our global family of Maiden fans.
"Radiology is cumulative and continues to build in the body for around three weeks after treatment, so even though Bruce’s seven week course is completed, he’s had a long period of considerable pain and discomfort. He is happily now starting to recuperate and the pain will continue to abate and the swelling to reduce for the next couple of months at which time he will be able take an MRI scan. It is not until then that we will have full confirmation that the cancer has been completely destroyed. However prognosis continues to be extremely good and everyone is optimistic for a full recovery. Following the scan, we will officially update you on our website at the appropriate time, probably in late May.
"After that, it will take a few more months for Bruce to get back to full fitness. Naturally the rest of the band are totally supportive and Maiden’s plans will be determined by Bruce’s progress.
"Please continue your positive thoughts. They are very much appreciated."
I'm not sure but I think Rod Smallwood is a bad porn star name. Think about it for a minute... Rod Smallwood comments on Dickenson.

I know. I'll just keep them tucked safely in my 80's memories.
Aussie will be along shortly to tell us how great he still is.

For the record, I am not a Van Halen fan. I am not a lead guitarist and I suspect neither is F2 so therefore are in position to critique accurately. He got old, big deal, so what, who cares?

I care. I love Van Halen.
I went to see Smashmouth a few years ago. He was so old, fat and out of shape. He sounded awful and looked like he had the meat sweats and was going to have a heart attack any second.

Dylan and Bromberg . . . two favorite Jew boy musicians I never wanted in bed.
I would have banged David Lee, in a heartbeat, back in the 80's.
Now . . . I'd do Dylan.
