I would never tell a crazy person they are wrong. Not saying you're crazy, I don't actually think you are BUT...
Being in possession of tens of thousands of rounds of ammo isn't exactly sane either. Are you expecting armageddon?
No, I have the ammo I need at a price that will seam inexpensive, that will last me a lifetime. I no longer need to worry about those ammo scares. I can shoot at the same pace as I always do and never have a worry. Actually I have 100's of thousands of rounds on hand but that is because when I hit the range it is no big deal for me to run through 500-1000 rounds .

I don't know you aside from this board, F.U.
I do believe you're a fearful person based on your posts; that's my observation.
I wouldn't call you crazy or nutty because, as I said, I don't know you well enough in general.
IMO the image you posted depicts the stereotype of a nutty, cartoonish, extremist to a tee. I do not believe that was your intention. And, as I'm not a "gun-grabber" or "anti-gunner", I wouldn't be one of those people who you would presumably assume would "freak out." So, I don't know why you posted it, but that's not important.
I think your choice to post that pic with that caption when you did is funny in its irony. I like to laugh no matter what the reason, so there's no problem.
I know what "buy it cheap and stack it deep" means. I also know that you weren't talking about canned goods or other such commodoties. It was easy for me to ascertain that you used it in regards to firearms because I'm not mentally retarded.
P.s. I did not mention anything about your ammo; it doesn't interest me.

Unfortunately my very first thought was, oh hey, just like ISIS.

I'm guessing it's a daughter of a soldier that's returned from Iraq or Afghanistan.
I like the idea of her dressing in Dad's gear.

^ When you toss out blatant bullshit like that (I could easily pull up dozens of posts where you've stated the contrary), it undermines your credibility.
Unless.............you were once more just joking and trying to ruffle my feathers. You silly goose!!!
Either way, I'm laughing again.

If I was stockpiling in fear I wouldn't waste my time stocking 40-50 thousand rounds of 22 LR. and only 5 thousand rounds of 5.56 & 7.62x39 [ AR & AK ammo] . I use the 22 for target practice . As a man killer it is about useless.

I hate quoting myself but, The story behind the pic is Yes her father was military, but he is retired now. No he was not returning from active duty at the time of this pic. This pic is just 2 days old and was taken at a public 4 th of july fireworks display. The military had a booth showing off some of their equipment and the Military men running the booth dressed her up in their gear and handed her a AR-15. Her entire family has ben raised around firearms and all, including her shoot quite often. She was very happy to wear the gear.

As I said, I could pull up dozens of posts where you've expressed your fear of the government and others as a factor in your stockpiling and your lifestyle.
But, that's not fun and I gotta go soon anyway.
You're not fearful, kids never injured or killed anyone unintentionally when you were a kid, lack of whoopins these days is a big reason for gun deaths, and the 5 th amendment guarantees freedom of speech. I hear ya, F.U.

Hahahaha. Yep its me Jimbone. lol
Actually I was a nice guy a while back and grabbed one of my 50 cal ammo cans with over 6000 rounds in it and took it to the shop and sold it to those that could not find any. It put some smiles on faces that's for sure.
Now I use gunbot to locate ammo for customers and have good luck with it. It is a up to the minute ammo site that monitors all the big retailers. Give it a look http://www.gunbot.net/ammo/rimfire/22lr/
This is what over 6000 rounds of 22lr look like . Just incase you forgot Jimbone.

Bastard. I remember what it looks like.
The shipping usually kills the deal. Trying to find it at a store in bulk is like trying to find The Lost Dutchman Mine.

Actually if you buy in bulk it isn't bad. When I make a order it is for several cases at a time. A case is usually 5000 rounds.

Hahahaha, bastard, hahahaha. that made me laugh, thanks.
As you may have noticed I keep every ammo can labeled with the cal and some even have the brand of ammo. It sure makes it easy to grab the right ammo when I head to the range. Or, OR if I have to send my magazine loader to the storage room as I am laying down the firepower when the government comes to take my guns. Hehehehehe, bad me BAD ME
