Cruz managed to take Oklahoma and clean house over Trump in Texas. Trump has come in first in the other states that have finished so far.

Bad news for Rubio. He hasn't won a state yet and he's come in third behind either Trump, Cruz, or Kasich in all the states I've seen so far. Looks like he's doing well in Minnesota though and might well pull that one out.

Sanders has won Vermont and Oklahoma and Clinton has won the other states. Bernie looks poised to take Minnesota and Colorado though.

Republicans are seeing record voter turnout, higher even than that for the Democrats, who are facing lower attendance from the previous election year.

Democratic voters definitely need a shot of adrenaline. Bernie's got record breaking crowds showing up to his rallies, but between he and Hillary, they're not pulling enough voters to the primary polls.

The shit-show that is the Republican run-off is at this point energizing a lot of Republican voters, which is good.

So, here's where things stand after all the Super Tuesday ballots were counted and verified:

DEMOCRATS
Hillary Clinton: earned/pledged delegates: 486 (first place in 8 states)
Bernie Sanders: earned/pledged delegates: 321 (first place in 4 states)

REPUBLICANS:
Donald Trump: earned/pledged delegates: 237 (first place in 7 states)
Ted Cruz: earned/pledged delegates: 209 (first place in 3 states)
Marco Rubio: earned/pledged delegates: 94 (first place in 1 state, MN)
John Kasich: earned/pledged delegates: 19
Ben Carson: earned/pledged delegates: 3

Yeah, and Trump says he is a unifier. Now that is funny. I attribute the larger turnouts to Trump being anything but a unifier. Like the polar opposite. More people are turning out because they love Trump and they hate Trump. It's polarizing, not unifying.

I like the way established republicans heads are exploding on Trump. I can only imagine the same would be happening right now with the democrats if Bernie won Tuesday. But because Hillary is Hillary and is a nutcase herself Bernie bots will not vote for her in the general election. This summer will truly be interesting and Trump reminds me of another presidential candidate with very little experience in Washington.

I'd choke on calling him President Trump. If the unthinkable happens, I'll call him President Fuckface.

The GOP establishment vs. Donald Trump

Mitt Romney, the 2012 GOP candidate who was endorsed by Trump, is set to deliver a scathing denouncement of Donald Trump today.

Personally, I don't think Romney is going to influence Trump supporters and the denouncement could help more than hurt Trump's 'outsider' appeal. But, perhaps Romney will influence some undecided Republicans and Independents?



Carson won't be participating in tonight's Republican debate. So, it'll just be Trump, Cruz, Rubio and Kasich. Cruz and Rubio will likely be launching full blown attacks on Trump.

Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace will return to moderate the two-hour forum, which starts at 9:00pm ET on Fox News Channel and will be streaming live on FoxNews.com.

Now that Romney voiced his opposition to Trump . . . along with Glenn Beck, Bill Kristol and the GOP establishment . . . I know that Trump is the appropriate candidate to occupy the White House.

When your own party loathes you more than the opposition, he's the guy who will bring change . . . within the party and the country.
