Yes... word is that Kiko, Maxwell, and Murray all have marching orders... we'll see how much is true.

I would expect with Kelley gone they'll try to undo most of his "grand experiment" as soon as possible. Wouldn't be at all surprised to see Shady back down Philly way.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

That's not gonna happen. I think the Bills are happy to keep the real McCoy.

Murray to the Titans. The Titans? Be careful what you ask for I guess?

The Eagles must have the most fascinating off season of any team in the NFL.

Wooo. The Broncos. I knew he'd be gone, I'm just a little surprised at where he went.

Well they lost their "QB of the future" to Houston and honestly the pickings are pretty slim at the QB position. I would assume they'll pick up another one and make butt fumble their backup, but stranger things have happened.

I saw that a day or two ago. Didn't the Texans give him an obscene amount of money?

What do you think about all the wheelin' & dealin' Howie has been doing?

I think the fucking Giants get the best grade in FA right now. They will have a defense again which doesn't bode well for us in our current state of remodel

We did trade up for a top ten pick in the draft though.

I think the Eagles are the "angry ex-girlfriend" of the NFL right now. They're getting rid of players, burning pictures, giving back that sweater they used to wear to bed...in little pieces. They are destroying every last bad memory of the Chip Kelly era Smiley_emoticons_biggrin

Meanwhile, I gotta have faith Elway and Kubiak know what they're doing. Truthfully, I think they were surprised at Osweiler's lack or foresight. Dude is leaving behind a perfect situation where they were gonna hand him the keys to daddy's Caddy at long last. He was gonna be starting QB on a team that won the frigging superbowl with ol' noodle-arms. He couldn't possibly have had a better shot at a ring than that.

So the Eagles GM is the angry ex, but you're surprised by Osweiler?

Imagine if you finally got out of the friend zone with a girl when she's on the rebound, then your girlfriend dropped you for her ex-boyfriend, expecting you to ride the backburner. Meanwhile, you've got this 39 year younger sidepiece flirtin with you, and your ex and her rekindled romance go to the big dance together. Then the dude dies, and now your ex texts you like, "Well, I guess we're going out again now." What do you do?

I think the trades ended up great. Maxwell was nowhere near worth the contract. Murray was a joke. Kiko was the most valuable traded. So total in FA they lost Carroll, Thurm, Murray, Kiko, Maxwell, Sanchez, and Biggers.

Carroll still needs to be replaced (or return, he's unsigned), Thurm was replaced by a better/younger player in McLeod. Murray needs to be replaced, but RBs are one of the easiest positions in the NFL to address. Kiko was replaced by Bradham (slight downgrade IMO), and Maxwell was slight downgrade way cheaper into McKelvin. Sanchez upgraded to Daniel at somewhat more expensive. Ron Brooks replaces Biggers, maybe with a chance to contribute more. We'll see. The difference being I didn't mention the best FA addition. Brandon Brooks becomes the starting right guard and instantly removes a draft need. The Eagles also move from 13 to 8, most likely ensuring a rookie starter.

I worry about DE tho. Barwin and Bgram are both making over 6M a year, and only one of them is going to start at DE. Curry is making over 9M a year... he's a new starter. They can afford to keep all three for a year, but either this year or next year, Barwin is a cap casualty IMO.

Oh yeah, and they need a wideout. Here's my breakdown of starters and my comfort level with each position.
