This is incorrect. A charge of murder would only apply if the "accident" were a premeditated attack of some sort. At best an attorney would be able to go for a manslaughter charge. Besides which, we all know that fair and unfair, right and wrong have little place in a legal court of law. It's all about what the DA thinks he or she can prove, what sort of representation the defendant can afford, and of course the possibility of an election year or political motivation for the prosecutors involved. It can not only be both ways, it can be a hundred other ways besides.

But that's not really the answer you wanted, is it. Did you want to keep discussing the millions of ways the American Justice sytem contradicts and confounds itself on a daily basis? Or did you want to move on to something more stable and solid and completely in agreement with itself on matters of right and wrong? Like the Bible for example. No contradiction there.hah

I believe that abortion after 20 weeks is murder. I was talking to a woman a few days ago and she said her doctor gave her baby an 80% chance of being born with serious debilitating abnormalities and she should consider an abortion. She did not and the baby was born healthy except for a finger that was fused. It was fixed after birth and the child is perfectly healthy today. Hiding behind science and religion is a cowards way of explaining away the murder perfectly healthy human. In the spirit of that justification you may be perfectly fine with doing away with feeble humans in the end days of their lives.
Explain to me how a woman could go over 5 months without a period not knowing she was pregnant. In your mind it may be perfectly fine to destroy the unspoken voice that has no defense on its own but I will continue to call it murder.

That may not be the answer you wanted but I don't really care, maybe an abortion thread is warranted as Bernie, Hillary and Trump could possibly be considered the living abortions that survived the surgeons forceps by tossing the good twin towards the pear shaped light.

I saw him trying to be presidential. It was so fuckin' annoying.

Simply thinking about that annoying fuck makes me feel vulgar.

Now you know how some of us have felt for the last 7 years. Every last word.

The difference is, the last seven years we actually were led by a president whose accomplishments will eventually outshine the race-inspired smear campaign that was conducted against him. He was every bigot's worst fear: an intelligent, reasoned black man with actual power. And whattaya know, he got us through the mess Bush left. Think how much he could have done with actual help from congress.
I'm so sick of hearing this bullshit line. Anytime someone doesn't agree with Obama's decisions they're racist. If they're vocal about it, it's a "race-inspired smear campaign." All throughout history there have been those who oppose the current commander in chief. Now that we've had a black president those who oppose are racists. Get over yourselves and realize that YOU are widening the gap between the races by even implying such an agenda. It's okay to oppose and those who oppose are not necessarily racists. FFS!

I am not disagreeing that political opposition has occurred throughout our history, or that it hasn't been nasty like this before. I'm not even saying everyone who disagrees with Obama's policies is a racist. You said that. I said, and stand by the assertion, that Obama's record is nowhere near as awful as has been put forth by his opposition, and that he has been the target of a widespread, RACE_MOTIVATED, smear campaign. I could call up the hundreds of thousands of examples of monkey jokes, nigger jokes, ape jokes and other assorted memes to prove this point...but I'm pretty sure you've seen them. There is an agenda. Pretending it doesn't exist just because it's distasteful and embarrassing does no one any favors.

If that makes you angry and defensive, look inward for the reasons why. It isn't my problem you get touchy about being associated with a bunch of racists who happen to share your views. Perhaps you should pick better allies.
I'm not touchy, I just know bullshit when I read it. Perhaps you should look inward at whats being spoon fed to you by your own agenda driven lefties. I can easily identify with both sides politically Dono, but this is just lefty bullshit. Are there racist kooks out there that make inappropriate memes? Of course there are. This is a nation of freedom of speech. Are they driven by the repubs? Of course they are, and Trump will start executing his constituents within his first year in office hahhahhah

I have said many times that as a man with a penis I have no horse in this race. My odds of being saddled with an unwanted child are significantly smaller than someone who actually bears children. Therefore it is none of my business.

What I do know is that we as a nation routinely deny basic healthcare, food, and a quality of decent life to millions of babies and children already here. We routinely round up and deport children and babies unlucky enough to have been born south of our border, often condemning them to horrific conditions and probable abuse or death by doing so. We refuse asylum to millions of other babies and children on the slight chance that one of their uncles might turn into a religious murderous zealout and take the job of religious zealout murder away from one of our own religious murdering zealouts. And those children and babies face almost certain starvation and murder and abuse. I do know that our own country refuses to acknowledge the horrific rate of gun related death in our own babies and children because doing so might force manly men to find some other way besides guns to compensate for their small penises. And I do know that our source of inspiration, our guiding light, is a God who killed millions of babies out of habit just to make a point that he was slightly irritated at ONE GUY.

So let's just go ahead and admit the "precious baby lives" argument is pure horseshit, okay?

You can do whatever you want and feel warm and fuzzy about it. That's fine every situation has different outcomes and grouping things is an easy escape. I still believe abortion after 20 weeks is murder and that's OK also right?

Hillary vs. Bernie

Bernie Sanders needs to put some meat on the bone he has to pick with Wall Street and big banks.

He wants to break them up, but wasn't able (or willing?) to provide a lot of details as to how he would go about accomplishing that goal in a NY Daily News interview yesterday. He's catching some heat for that from some pundits and the Clinton campaign. The issue is certain to come up at the April 14th Clinton/Sanders debate ahead of the NY primary.

NY has a lot of delegates up for grabs and it should be very interesting to see if Bernie is able to use his Brooklyn heritage to help close Clinton's lead in her senatorial state.

Clinton is playing up the one issue to on which she's clearly to the left of Sanders -- gun control.

In his interview yesterday, Bernie refused to cave in and agree that gun violence victims should be able to sue gun manufacturers. After that interview, the NY Daily News put Bernie on their cover.

In my opinion, Bernie won't lose anything by refusing to appease the most extreme gun control advocates.

I also don't think Hillary will lose anything by refusing to appease the most extreme pro-choice activists by not backing off her position about late term restrictions being reasonable.

He lies every time he steps up to the podium. He loves telling his supporters (I want to call them followers) that his campaign is self funded. It's not, he's been called out on it several times, it makes no difference to those who support him, none of his lies matter to those people. I think they overlook it because they find him so appealing in a variety of other ways.

Good for him. I think suing the gun manufacturer for violence is absolutely ridiculous.

Ok, so babies are sacred from 20 weeks gestation to 40. Then the little fuckers are screwed, amirite? That's a pretty narrow window if you don't mind me saying. Oh and don't forget we cut all the benefits to poor mothers for becoming pregnant while poor, so they're screwed too.

Why are they getting pregnant if they can't afford to raise a child? Aside from rape or incest, I don't see much of an excuse here. One can prevent getting pregnant. It's not like some dude slipped on the rug and his dick landed in some chick and got her pregnant.

Because well meaning and self righteous prick wielding assholes like yourselves felt it was necessary to do things like defunding planned parenthood and outlawing reasonable, thoughtful discussion of sexual activity in schools. Add to that the amazingly progressive approach to teen sex that was encapsulated by conservatives everywhere: "Just don't have sex."

Sexual activity is the single most powerful instinct possessed by living things, next to breathing. We give up money for it, we give up food for it, we give up our lives for it. Entire wars have been fought for it. And pricks like your badass rock and roll self made entire careers out of the hunt for it. Blocking young people from information, education, and tools for birth control and then telling them not to make a mistake is like locking blind people in a dark room full of double edged razor blades and telling them not to bleed.

I'm actually a prick who believes that defunding PP is wrong so... But PP isn't the only way to keep from having babies.

No, but it's one of many sources of education and information being actively blocked, and one of the ONLY places to get free condoms. We all know that planned abstinence is ridiculous and unworkable. But what other options have we provided for to prevent unwanted pregnancy?

As I stated upthread, my daughter knows more about the contraceptives available to her than I do because we have this new thing called the information highway or the internet which even the poorest kids in the US have access to. I never got my condoms from PP. My son never got his from PP. My father provided them for me as I did my son. They aren't expensive and as the parent of a male child I felt that it was my responsibility to make sure he had them when he started sticking his dick into girls his age who were willing. In most cases, the girls (most of them he was seeing were project girls because they were easy) were prepared with their condoms of choice which were also not provided by PP. These are all questions I got by simply talking to my child when he was sexually active. Does this not occur in poor families? Maybe it should.

I don't give a fuck if they are poor, rich, or just stupid, get a freaking abortion before 20 weeks or earlier. What is so tough about that? 20 weeks is 5 months into a pregnancy, they know they are pregnant and do nothing about it. You are enabling stupidity and part of the problem. At some point accountability is required and men should share the burden as much as the woman should.
What you are prescribing is the sociological implications of the loss of the sanctity of life and the beginning of a society that believes that all life is negotiable without personal input by the person deemed useless.
Science fiction novels have been written on the ability of humans to alter the coarse of evolutionary traits for the good of society but ignorance was still widely available.

All life is negotiable. Sanctity of life is a horse shit concept that operates on a sliding scale depending on who is doing the talking, what color the life is being sanctified, and whether or not, like BG above, one can safely hint that the life being sanctified is somehow less worthy because its grampa didn't buy its daddy or mommy any rubbers. We as a nation just spent two decades bombing the shit out of sanctified life, of all ages because of proxy wars and oil profits. We as a people deport millions, and WANT to deport millions more, of sanctified lives because we don't like their color, their language, or their religion. We as a people condemn millions of sanctified lives to death because we don't think they work hard enough, and we don't want to see a couple pennies of our goddamn tax dollars going to feed, nurse, or otherwise assist them to a better quality of sanctified life.

I don't give a good goddamn about your sanctified five month pregnancy life, until you can prove to me you and your kind give a good goddamn about the sanctified lives already here.

That clear enough for ya?

If you leave your child's sexual education to the internet you're a bigger fool than you sound like. The internet can't even decide whether or not butt selfies or doing the Nae Nae is the next big thing. God help your kids if that's how you taught them sex ed.
Thank goodness you're so enlightened, though. Now if you could only convince the other 325 million citizens of this country that you have found the correct method of birth control and that they all need to do it your way, that would be great. Thanks, dude, you"re a pal. Shouldn't take you more than a couple decades.
