Some have even started a write in Bernie campaign. Not sure that's going to help her.

You're right. Clinton has an extensive, experienced, well-funded ground game and voter outreach mechanism and has since early in the campaign (and 2008, really). She's not sacrificing feet on the ground resources for advertising resources -- her campaign is doing both with plenty of funding for each.

Clinton's ground game was a big campaign advantage for her over Trump early on; he had no ground game at all then. But, he was highly effective at reaching voters with frequent and free media appearances and social media. That's where I wish she'd gotten up to speed and jazzed up her campaign strategies; I think it would have been beneficial for her to be seen and heard more by less traditional voters earlier on.

Anyway, Clinton's got about an 85% chance of winning the four NH electorates according to the current polls. I think her campaign was smart to send Sanders as her surrogate to rally voters there. It was also smart to absorb some of Sanders' feet on the ground and staffers there into her local campaigning effort once she won the nomination over Bernie.

I don't doubt that Trump will be on that debate stage on Monday night.

I'd absolutely love it if a real-time fact check banner was running during the debate broadcast, but it doesn't appear that's going to happen.

I'm guessing that Clinton will be prepared to bust open some of Trump's most repeated lies and fabrications during the debate, but there's no way she can call out all of his bullshit if he continues to spew it at rapid pace like he did in the primary debates, rallies, and during his media appearances.

Anyway, I hope Clinton stays focused on her plans/policies, calls out Trump falsities when it matters (without getting unfocused), and uses humor to laugh him off if he personally attacks her rather than getting overly defensive.

He may be able to get her to cry and not just alligator tears.

Clinton is many things, but a cry baby sure ain't one of them, in my humble opinion.

I don't expect her to lose her cool in the debate, no matter which Donald J. Trump shows up on Monday night.

Well, that "lyin' weasel" Ted Cruz announced today that he will vote for that "pathological liar" Donald Trump. Those are among the kinder ways the two described each other during the primaries.

Cruz reportedly took the opportunity to get in line with the Republican base when Trump announced today that he would nominate Mike Lee to the Supreme Court (Lee says he's not interested, but Cruz is a fan of Lee).

Cruz also cited the fact that he considers Hillary Clinton wholly unqualified to be president as one of his reasons for finally giving in and getting behind Trump; 'only Trump can stop Hillary', he says.

I respected Cruz's decision to stand his ground at the Republican Convention. But, political analysts say that, even if Trump loses, Cruz and his team figure it will probably be better for him to have kept his promise to support the party nominee when he's up for senate re-election in two years and likely runs for president again in 2020.

I don't know how much Cruz's support helps Trump at this point, but it sure can't hurt in terms of positioning Trump as able to unite the fractured party.

In all seriousness, how do you endorse someone who has treated your family so badly? Is nothing sacred in politics? I understand the personal slams, I don't like it but I get it. For Cruz to endorse fuckface is beyond my understanding. There is nothing, and I mean nothing that could ever outweigh fuckin' with my loved ones.
