Other than Mo my answer would be not killing the cat. I only wanted to get him vaccinated and some antibiotics and then they talked me into getting him neutered too. Then they wanted me to bring him back a week later to pull out all his freaking rotten teeth. The poor thing probably died from shock.

Please don't ever feel bad for trying to do the right thing. I felt so proud of you when you took the initiative with that cat when it didn't have anyone else to care.

It was weird because they said he was severely anemic and dehydrated plus his immune system caused sores all in his mouth so they gave him a round of fluids, steroids, antibiotics and pain meds. They said this should make him feel so much better. It made him feel better alright.
