And I'm with you Sal, that drop off thingie is for the birds! (not peanut)
You can never be too careful when little 5⁄6 year old innocents are involved. They are so naive and can be easily fooled like you said! Better to be safe then sorry!!! Good for you!

And when/if she does go to public schools, make sure she poops at home before going to school!

Interesting fact about birds, they don't poop either while they're sleeping so in the morning they always have one gigantic poop.

I know I can't shelter my kids from everything and I don't try to, but dropping them off and picking them up from school is one thing I want to be in control of.
I understand your feelings.
But, what I was saying is, I didn't think the safety of your daughter was the sole reason you were homeschooling.
Am I right?

Kindergarten is almost like a baby sitting opportunity, peace of mind and maybe a chance to do other things. The kids like it but will forget everything they did except maybe drinking orange juice and eating crackers.

Agreed.
To me, K was about the child learning social skills and leaving their parents without separation anxiety.

It was a big part of it, but that paired with her coming home everyday miserable was the other part. Kindergarten is supposed to be fun and it ended up stressing both of us the fuck out.
I'm not a home school freak, never even considered it with the other two. But now in my old age I think differently and don't want to be stressed out for one second, life's too short. We'll try it again for 2 nd grade when she's a bit more mature.

What you need is a soft and sweet, wise and wonderful, cool and mystical, magical nanny.

Plus I really don't want my kid watching Oprah all day and learning to write fan letters to Prince Harry.

You need a nanny that is good at security and martial arts that sort of thing. That is just the world we live in today. I used to treat the person that was looking after my little one like part of the family. She was awesome. She has her own successful business now. She also has twins of her own. Her only job was to take care of the child, no housework or anything else. School holidays, I gave a good amount of money to do activities. They were free to do as they liked. She was one of the kindest most awesome human beings, we are still close. I value people who work for me, I pay well and treat them with respect. She is still like part of my family.

That's lovely, Aussie. I know at least one person who treats their employees like niggers. No exaggeration. I've seen it in action and it's horrible. I feel sorry for the employees.

Are you hiring?
Not for me, my brother could use a job and I could use some time away from him.
I'd even pay for his passport.

So after looking at all those thousands and thousands of people in the "pussy hats" picture in the Trump thread, I became curious.
Would you use a porta-potty, if you could find one, that was already used by hundreds of people before you?
(Heard many people at those kinds of events wear diapers)

I'd find a bush to squat behind or use my Go Girl. You won't catch me out in any kind of protests or marches anyway, it's fucking retarded.
They all make me sick no matter the cause. Out there causing chaos and inconveniencing people, DIAF already.

Wow, DIAF, that's a little harsh, you really are hard nosed about your dislike for those protesters! I don't like protesters either, but . . . . . . . that's about it.
(still wonder where they poop )

Looking at that picture, there's not enough room between their bodies to be able to stick out a go girl!
(Not to mention pee on the crowd!) I guess diapers are the way to go. (excuse the pun)
