GUNS DON'T KILL PEOPLE, OR DO THEY?
Jesus Campos spoke with police after the ordeal but hasn't yet spoken publicly.

Campos had prepared last Thursday for a series of TV appearances but went to a health clinic instead, causing speculation that he had gone missing.

'He is a victim in this and we don't discuss victims,' Las Vegas Police officer Larry Hadfield said.

Hotel officials said Campos was safe but that he wanted people to respect his privacy. They added that Campos will tell his story when he is ready.

This should be enlightening.

I did find it to be enlightening.

I've never watched the Ellen Show, but I understand why Jesus Campos chose to tell the story there -- no baseless narratives, no grilling him to speculate on things he couldn't possibly know, no attempts to make political points.

Campos said he's recovering day by day, which was good to hear, though he still thinks about the scene all the time.

The interview video can be viewed here: https://www.ellentube.com/

Both Campos and Schuck struck me as humble and decent hard-working guys who got caught up in a terrible mass murder while on-the-job.

Fortunately, Campos didn't panic after getting shot and had the presence of mind to radio in 'shots fired' immediately and then clear radio traffic so response could be coordinated. He used his cell phone to alert staff he'd been shot.

The interview cleared up a lot for me. Campos was actually investigating why the fire door was blocked when he got shot. He had called for a maintenance engineer as he went down to the 31st floor to gain access to the 32nd floor from another entry point. That's when Schuck, a maintenance engineer, was dispatched to the 32nd floor.

When Campos arrived on the 32nd floor, he initially thought the noise he heard was construction/drilling, but it was rapid fire. He didn't realize that he'd been shot until he felt a burning sensation and lifted his pant leg to find he was bleeding. He took cover and a female guest came out of her room; Campos yelled at her to get back in her room.

Shuck was unaware that shots had been fired and showed up to investigate the blocked fire door quickly. Paddock was still shooting. Campos yelled at him to take cover and bullets narrowly missed him as he did so.

The graphic Ellen presented showed the layout of the floor and Campos and Schuck described where they were and the sequence of events they experienced.

Of course, none of this is stopping the conspiracy theorists who are desperate to turn Jesus Campos into an accomplice or the actual shooter, but these are the times we live in.

Both Jesus and Schuck wanted to thank the Metro Police, the FBI, first responders, and the people at the concert who helped others in the crowd.

The security guard and the maintenance engineer are both sports fans. They said they wouldn't accept money from the show. But, Ellen presented them with thank you gifts from the NFL and Shutterfly anyway. Schuck gets to meet his favorite team, the Colts. And Campos was presented season tickets to Oakland Raiders' games in Vegas. Shutterfly also contributed $25,000 to the victims fund in Campos' name.

I'm not including you as a "conspiracy theorist" MS, just to be clear.

You're just a speculator, not someone making up all kinds of bullshit and lies to fit a baseless theory.

There's an active shooter in Maryland. At least 5 wounded.

The suspect in the Baltimore, Maryland shooting Gunnar referenced is on the run; hope LE catches his ass soon.

Of the five wounded, three are now dead.

Police said Radee Labeeb Prince (pictured center), 38, shot five people at Advanced Granite Solutions in the Emmorton Business Park (pictured right; people seen on location seen left), around 20 miles northeast of central Baltimore, shortly after 9am.

He then fled the scene in a car and is now at large and 'armed and dangerous,' police have warned. Businesses and schools remain on lockdown.

The incident is being called a 'workplace shooting' although it's not known if Prince was employed at the company. Prince reportedly fled in a black GMC cadia with the Delaware license plate PC0 64273 (similar car pictured inset).

Just heard that LE suspects he might also be behind a shooting in Delaware.

Yeah, above the canal, northern Delaware. I saw it said it happened at a used car lot in Wilmington.

Thanks for the clarification but I didn’t think you were including me.

Campos is in a tough spot, especially considering how timelines have changed throughout the course of the investigation.

To me, the 2 broken windows and the fact he was essentially only grazed when Paddock allegedly fired 200 or so bullets at him are the 2 pieces that really stand out when considering him as a potential accomplice.

I wish there was time stamped hotel footage that could show him arriving at the stairwell and what time he emerges in the hallway outside of Paddock’s room. Also, the exact time the maintenance man arrives.

Anyway, I do enjoy a good conspiracy, and I’m still not 100% convinced that he didn’t partipate.

Well, I think you're way off base, based on where the facts and evidence point. Don't quit your day job Rockford. ')

You often assume the position of guilty til proven innocent when it comes to male victims and that's been the case since I met you here several years ago.

But, at least you know that your tendency to blame victims isn't based on fact or evidence and you don't claim otherwise. I can respect that.

Good to read that the Delaware victim survived and the suspect was caught. I doubt he'll ever walk free again.

Radee Labeeb Prince, 38, was arrested in Delaware on Wednesday night.

He had been wanted for shooting five people at Emmorton Business Park at around 9am Wednesday.

All five worked at Advance Granite Solutions; three died. Prince had worked there for the last four months.

Prince fled in a black GMC Acadia with Delaware license plate PC64273; police said not to approach him.

He then drove to a used car lot in Wilmington, Delaware, and shot a man two times there.

That man survived and identified Prince to police; Prince had been living in Wilmington until May this year.

The victims all knew Prince, police said; the Delaware car dealer had a 'beef' with Prince, police claimed.

Prince has a long criminal record including burglary and illegal possession of a firearm by a felon.

In early 2017 a colleague took a peace order out after he was attacked by Prince,
who was fired from that job.

A worker from near the scene said that the shooting had followed an argument but other details are unclear.

All In the (Paddock) Family

Dad Paddock was a bank robber and prison escapee who was on the FBI's 10 Most Wanted list (and described as a dangerous psychopath).

The eldest son, Stephen, slaughtered 58 innocent people in one of the country's worst mass murders.

And, today, one of Stephen Paddock's brothers was arrested on child porn charges in Los Angeles.

^ Bruce Paddock is not considered a suspect in the Las Vegas shooting, according to police.

He is charged with possessing more than 600 images of child pornography, as well as 19 counts sexual exploitation of a child.

LAPD said their investigation was underway before the Las Vegas mass murder, but they weren't able to locate Bruce Paddock until now.

Since he'll be a guest of LE for at least a while, I expect, maybe they can get some clues into Stephen Paddock's mindset that could help Las Vegas investigators.

No shit. I wonder if they're products of nature or nurture. I don't think they grew up with the father so I wonder if the mother is a whack job too.

I've wondered about that too.

I read that the boys were raised by their mother and got the same impression that criminal dad wasn't really in the picture.

I don't think Mom Paddock has given any interviews. I've only read the account of a neighbor saying that she called her son Stephen 'a bad boy'. http://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-w...08456.html

A couple of interesting tidbits to add to this story:

1. Mandalay Bay has officially admitted that there were ZERO cameras covering the hallway entrance to Paddock’s room and the stairwell which is located in that hallway.

This would allow my theory of Campos’ involvement to still breathe life as he could’ve moved unseen from stairwell to the room(s) and hallway.

2. Campos left the US to return to Mexico in a California rental vehicle shortly after the incident. He essentially left the day he was supposed to give all the media interviews.

Does this prove anything? Absolutely not, BUT, he certainly could have been transporting evidence, etc.

And, if he had just taken a .223 slug to his leg, that’d be fairly uncomfortable. Unless, of course, he had shot himself and was only grazed.

Or, he was just visiting family.
