Hmmm.... Aaron Rodgers is coming back for the Pack this week.
They’re 7-6 and face: @ Carolina, VIKINGS, @ Detroit.
They need to win out and have Seattle lose 1 out of 3 and Carolina lose to either Atlanta or Tampa Bay and they’d get a Wild Card spot.
With Philly and Minny playing backup QB’s, ATLANTA, CAR & NO feel pretty good about the playoffs as their QB’s have all been to the Super Bowl.
If Rodgers can get his team to the post-season they’re confidence will be off the charts.

I heard an analyst say the Vikings are the only threat to us right now. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say that but it made me laugh and I thought of you immediately. He went on to talk about the role the QB's supporting cast and what a big role they will be playing for these 2 teams, and that the cast was some of the best in the NFL.
Being an Eagles fan is not for the weak.

Well, my guys are Battle Tested, no doubt about that.
Even last week, playing poorly on the road against a team desperate for a win, they got themselves back in the game and had the ball 1st and Goal from the 6 with a chance to take a lead with 3 minutes left.
It didn’t work out, but the resiliency shown was very telling.
Health is the key now (as it is for every club).
Can we win enough games to get at least a first round bye while getting the offensive line healthy at the same time?
Interesting 3 weeks coming up.

Can my injured QB be on the sidelines for the remainder of my games? Does anyone know?

He’s allowed to attend, absolutely.
If he just had surgery though he may not be there this weekend.

Yeah, he did, Wednesday morning. Thanks for clarifying for me. I was curious & hopeful that he could be there and I'm glad to read that he can be.

Cincinnati’s offense used to be potent.
Not sure what’s happened to them.

I'd love to talk to you about it but I can't comment, I don't know much, if anything, about them. First, I pay attention to the Eagles, next comes everyone else in my division. Sometimes I take the time to educate myself a little on upcoming competition but I'm pretty oblivious to the accomplishments (or failures) of other teams, unless they make headlines. In general, I don't know anything outside of the NFC East.

Had a feeling my guys would come out fired up today.
Granted, the Bengals are emotionally out of it and they have a ton of injuries on defense, but my D has held them to 1 First Down so far in the 1st half.

Well, that was a close one but you can't lose them all, better luck next time.

Maggot, I know you can’t admit this, but every other NFL fan knows the Pats are the luckiest team that has ever existed.
You get the Steelers without AB for the second half, your offensive line holds on just about every play and then you get the overturned call at the goal line.
You’ve got a horseshoe up your ass (and you’re pretty good too) and that is tough for other teams to overcome.
Bottom line: my 3 team parlay should have been an easy cash, but the Pats rarely have anything go against them.

I didn't see the game, but I saw the replay of the TD that wasn't and I agree with the call. He didn't have control and his knee was down at the 1 before he lost control. At that point they needed to decide if it was complete or incomplete. Since he didn't have control I think the call was sound.

Well, you’re in the minority.
Both Namce and Romo were incredulous on the broadcast about the overturn.
But, my point was more about Patriot luck.
The guy is untouched, breaking the plane of the goal line (which he does prior to hitting the ground) and somehow bobbles the ball as he hits the turf.
Very fortunate for the Pats I’d hope you would agree.

Isn't that a newer rule? At first I thought it was good.
