how does your garden grow?

Looks can be deceiving. If I thought to myself "Ew! Pig skull scrapings suspended in membrane!" I never would have discovered how tasty head cheese is.

Sadly, the look and smell of cooked spinach did keep me from discovering the deliciousness of creamed spinach for many years.

Oh no. No head cheese. Nope. Not ever. I'd eat bark first.

Much of these weird food things were created because people HAD to do something with it or starve. It's not really necessary today.

It's good stuff. The head has some of the best meat on the animal. Especially cheeks. Mmmmmhhhmmmm... Cheek meat.

I'm sure that if you try it, you will like it. Start with just the tip of the sandwich?

My six year old daughter loves fried frog legs. They have them at a restaurant here and that's what she gets every time we go there. I won't try them, thinking about it makes me gag. She will try anything, even stuff that I wont eat like head cheese for example. Even though I might like the taste if I tried it, I can't get myself to try it.

I will eat any vegetable though and anything that comes from the water except eel.

Having to eat yuck is the only thing that kept me from auditioning for Survivor. I knew I could handle much of what I would be put through but I just could not get past the thought of eating brains or stomach or any of the myriad of gross bullshit they come up with.

What about bull testicles? After seeing them on an episode of Fear Factor, I want to try them someday.

I ate them once. It wasn't intentional, I was tricked. I was a bartender back in the day and everyday when I came to work the owner would feed me. I was so mad & revolted I never ate another thing she cooked. Gives me a barfy lump in my throat just recalling it. It was a long time ago.

.

Long ago, I was in a Chinese Restaurant, and I was trying to impress my date at the time.

I was acting like I understood what the Chinese titles meant of the appetizers that I was ordering for us.

The 4 wrapped in aluminum foil highly seasoned appetizers came, we them
and they were good.

Then the waiter came to clear away the plates and asked in broken English,
how the Bull's Balls? Smiley_emoticons_shocked:Blush Big surprise

Unless you can run fast remove them from the Bull first.

How hungry do you have to be to pick "bulls balls" off the menu? Unless it's disguised as Mount Delight pickles or something.

In Denver they called those Rocky Mountain Oysters. Lot of people loved them. Never tried them myself.
Thank god I am oblivious to the opinions of others while caught in the blinding splendor of my own cleverness.

Lamb balls sound good too. The lamb fries look like meatballs in that scene.
