The Death List
Just saw a snip from 2020 on Barbara.

She seemed like a real solid woman, unpretentious and genuine.

RIP

I saw that cartoon the other day. It went viral.

I read that the two men standing here are just a couple of the Secret Service who have spent decades guarding her. They won't leave her until she's buried.

I heard someone say she is the last First Lady of a bipartisan time.

Clint Walker has died.

A very big guy. 6'6"

Clint Walker, the towering, strapping actor who handed down justice as the title character in the early TV western "Cheyenne," has died, his daughter said Tuesday.

Walker died Monday of congestive heart failure at a hospital in his longtime home of Grass Valley, California at age 91, his daughter, Valerie Walker, told The Associated Press.

"He was a warrior, he was fighting to the end," said Valerie Walker, a retired commercial pilot who was among the first women to fly for a major airline.

Clint Walker, whose film credits included "The Ten Commandments" and "The Dirty Dozen," wandered the West after the Civil War as the solitary adventurer Cheyenne Bodie in "Cheyenne," which ran for seven seasons on ABC starting in 1955.

If I was gay I would have a hard-on. But looking through his pictures to post I never even got a tingle. But I could see how he would make a woman's heart go beep, beep, beep. That dude was stacked and I do remember his speaking voice which was "not to shabby"

I did not see this coming.

He had a daughter that was still fairly young and on the surface would’ve appeared to have a great life.

Depression was not obviously visible but must have been there simmering below the surface.

Tony was a herion addict back in the day. He loved to drink and smoke during the show but that wasn't politically correct so they turned him into an elder spokesperson. I suspect he didn't enjoy that.

I didn't know either of them until it was in the news.

Im shocked that he commited suicide, I always thought he had the greatest life ever. Getting paid to smoke and drink and travel around the world eating delicous food. Damn.

I really liked what Anthony Bourdain put forth -- super smart and articulate observer and storyteller, no bullshit, no frills, adventurous, and very much a humanist. Rest in peace.

I'm not surprised he killed himself -- there always appeared to be a sense of struggle and discontent right beneath the surface, no matter how good things seemed. And, he was honest about his past demons. But, I'm sorry that he felt death was his best option. Chronic depression is a killer.

Last week I read that suicides are up by 30% since 1999 in the U.S. In the U.K., it's actually the leading cause of death for men 29 - 40, which is incredible to me. There really needs to be more investment in better understanding and treatment of mental illness (outside of popping pills).

I read an article where he said in an interview that he contemplated suicide many times, but his daughter gave him something to live for. I guess eventually that wasnt enough.

I have a co-worker that’s so over-the-top Pro Trump that he makes Mags and BM look like Clinton supporters.

Anyway, he says Bourdain hated Trump so much, that’s what killed him.

Me too. I loved his snarky, sarcastic wit also.
