The One that Got Away

OMG I haven't even finished watching this one yet, but the conversation between these two is making me laugh. And I do believe I just wrote my first 'click bait' line! Smiley_emoticons_biggrin
Anyway, Elk gets caught in a trampoline-WAiT TIL YOU SEE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT! Just kidding, I have no idea what happens next either!

Also the guy makes this apologetic message about his wife's comments its pretty funny.

Quote:OMG - Just when you thought you had seen it all.......and we see a lot of crazy Elk behavior here in Evergreen, CO....but this Takes The Cake for sure! We were just sitting down for our morning coffee when I watched this young elk poking his head into the entrance of the trampoline..when all of a sudden he decides to jump in for some fun! Getting out proves to be a bit harder than getting in!!!

The Elk's friend on the outside actually looks like he wants to get in and join the fun while the Mom looks on.

For any viewers offended by my wife's comment on the notion of shooting it....the only reason my wife suggested doing so was to keep it from suffering if it got too badly hurt due to the hole in the tramp. We recently watched in horror as a fox was strangled to death in our neighbor's soccer goal netting. My reaction to her comment gave her the reality check she needed as she was a bit over-reactive due to her sensitivity to its wellbeing and not wanting to see it suffer like the poor little fox!

Hope you enjoyed the video!!!

Whew! I was worried and wasn't sure if I should continue watching. I didn't want any bad stuff to get stuck in my head. I care deeply about the animals, all animals, more than I care about most people.

Do you think the bear caught up to the elk? Maybe that didn't end so well.

My dog does not normally react to computer noises but the sound that Elk made caused her to jump.

I am pretty sure that baby elk was safe for at least that day-only if mamma was around. They have sharp hooves!

@Duchess, you can be guaranteed that if I am posting a video with animals that it will turn out okay (No deaths etc etc). I mean that bear went hungry, but the baby survived! : )

I have bad stuff stuck in my head but I save it for when someone pisses me off. It gives me a reason, even though the poor ones on the receiving end have no clue. But I bet most psychopaths do the same thing.

I learned not to do that anymore. But I did that thing where I had a dream and when I woke up I was mad at people and wanted to yell at them.

Since I have posted about bears in this thread-I will post the dream here-
My house mates brought home a bear as a pet, that they said was not a dangerous animal. But then they started poking at it to see if they could bring it to its breaking point-and they did! But instead of lashing out at them (because they jumped out of the way) The bear grabbed me!
When I got free I started yelling at my housemates and telling them how stupid they were and that they could have got me killed, and they were totally oblivious and thought it was funny.
So when I woke up I was totally ready to post on social media that poking at animals was not recommended and not very nice.

WTF

I suppose I could get a super duper shiny tin foil hat like yours and wear it to keep any more bad stuff from gettin' in there.

hah Yes, I did but only because I used to watch the Decorah eagles. I did it for entire season from eggs being laid until after they fledged. I only went back randomly after that because I had been emotionally attached and was worrying about all kinds of bullshit, snowstorms, hawks, dead bunnies in the nest, etc.

Do you know here in Tasmania, they are killing native wildlife because they were defecating on a golf course. It's a huge golf course. Russell Crowe tweeted out against it. How evil.
