The Senators that voted to convict trump represent 61.6% (202 million) Americans. Those that voted to acquit represent 38.2% (125 million) Americans. 

The electoral college needs to go, so does the filibuster. Do it. Thousands worked their asses off to get Democrats elected and give Biden the majority. Use your power and get some shit done.

Many of the Senators who voted to convict trump have been censured by their state's party. Pennsylvania's GOP chair went so far as to say "we did not send him there to do the right thing" when referring to Senator Toomey.

Our country has a very big problem when doing the right thing is seen as being bad.
