Weve been relatively lucky all winter. Very little snow. Only a few below zero cold snaps and no electricity losing Ice storms and we always have at least 2 of those. But the wind. OMG it just doesn't stop!

The last couple of weeks here the wind has been unbelievable, with gusts up to 25 to 30mph.

There is snow on the mountain here on the west side. Snow on the side of the road on one of the passes. The other pass has no working camera, but should be fine. I am excited to see snow today.
Woooo!
So glad I took a couple of extra days off to be able to take my time traveling back over the mountains.

91 was the high here. I just turned on the AC for the first time this year, I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep without it.

68 degrees, 2% humidity. Would be beautiful if it wasn't dark and cloudy and looked like it's going to rain.

It was an ominous warning. 4 hours ago I had fever, chills, upset stomach. Took a few hours nap, feel better but not quite sure I want to try eating yet. I burped, I farted, and threw up a little.

The weather has been perfect here and I don't want it to end. It dictates a lot of what I've been doing lately. I'm like the little kid who doesn't want to come inside at the end of the day.

I found some awesome restaurants and beaches today by accident.

That’s cool!
Last spring I found a bay cove around 35 minutes from my house that I never knew about. It has nice bathrooms, picnic tables and a snack bar open on weekends in the summer. It’s subject to the tides so not always available for wading but when it is, it’s great. Took my dog there at least a dozen times since.
I WISH I’d known about it when my kids were younger. It’s great for splashing around and stuff on a hot day.

We have a fan almost identical to that in every bedroom (and two in the master). I love them.

Yeah, I honestly don't mind it but wasn't expecting to be putting on a beanie hat again. The sun is shining today but the high will be 60 which felt warm to me before, now it feels cold lol.

Cold here this morning also. But fuck it, I'm not going back to jeans and a hoodie. Tshirt and shorts until the Fall or winter.
