I’m tired of the victim mentality and then try to imagine if Mexico thought California didn’t have a right to exist and how I’d feel (under those circumstances) if Mexico had nuclear weapons that they could deploy. 

I also think about reparations to descendants of black people that were enslaved and while I don’t agree with ignoring or burying that part of U.S. history, I can’t (also) get my mind around reparations.

It turns out that Iran hit Israel hard, so it's looking like war rather than more tit for tat.

Obviously this isn't good but it does put Trump in a very awkward position because full-scale war means there will be a significant number of US casualties over something that a majority of Americans don't support. This could significantly reduce Trump's influence within the Republican Party.

This will be painful but it might end up being the undoing of Trump and his pro-Israel allies.
