Authorities say a convicted sex offender who was suspected of abducting two girls from an Iowa bus stop Monday has been found dead.
The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation says 42-year-old Michael Klunder was found dead Monday night at a rural property northeast of Dayton, which is about 60 miles north of Des Moines. His cause of death remains under investigation.

Sorry for the double post, found some more info on Klunder:
Klunder, 42, was found dead hours later at another rural property, where his truck was also found. Authorities said he committed suicide; an autopsy completed Wednesday determined the cause of death was hanging.
Klunder was released from the state prison system in 2011 after serving 20 years for two kidnapping convictions in Iowa dating back to 1991.

Asshat
originally had a 41 year prison term that was cut to 21 years. There is nothing at this time tying him to Elizabeth and Lyric but police are investigating.

They are not a joke & you all are absolutely IGNORANT! You don't know anything about them or their families. I don't wish anything upon anyone but what if some thing like this happened to you& people sat here digging up your past, family & criticizing everything you do in life all the way to what shoes you are wearing?! Heather has a heart condition and she ALWAYS wears heels because it helps circulation. I can't believe the things you people say.... Disgusted.
