Yes, you are quite right. One of my default settings of who i am is that every day i try and improve myself, which i dont see as a problem. I need to do something. In my defence Clang did present the problem of wanting a girlfriend, hence advice, not given otherwise. Someone once said that to keep doing the same thing expecting a different result is a form of madness.
What this means is that Clang needs to change, what hes doing now isnt working. It is crazy to want a girlfriend and then not, at least, start working towards it.
Has Clang done that?, no. Getting out of your comfort zone is needed. Is Clang going to get a girlfriend doing the same thing over and over.? No. Getting out of your comfort zone ia always required, if you dont, you become an old shoe at the bottom of a river.
I am completely happy with who i am, everyone who has contact with me benefits, strangely, like here, i dont.
If his discomfort at not having a girl was bad, he would have done something about it. a long time ago. Hes old now, an old dog. Indeed Mirah, acceptance on Clangs part is needed, that he will NEVER get a girl.

It isnt about generalisations tiki, Clang is of the type that needs someone holding his feet to the fire, he has said so himself. He is like his father, and i have become the father he never had.
And you are right that helpers lack something in their lives, generally. I am thinking about that now and have come up with some sort of rampant gagging female who will leave me speechless as my partner is ill. Personally i have bad faults, as described, plus a Mirah fault, that i care too much. The thought that i never have is " whats in this for me". For clang to get a girl would please me immensely.
