Speaking of purses, I bought this Dooney & Bourke bag at Macys today. I just bought a new bag a month or two ago and it was too small. This one will probably be too big. Eventually I'll get one that's just right.

Dooney is one of my favorite bags. I only carry that or Guess.

I'd like to be able to get over my aversion to Coach but I don't see that ever happening.

I have a Gucci bag that has sat in its dust cover on a shelf in my closet since my boss gifted me with it one Christmas several years ago. I'll never use it, I think it's matronly looking.

Yeah. For the longest time, I only wore brown or black bags (with an occasional exception). I don't know why. Maybe I'll change my mind during the winter but all the brown and black bags just looked blah to me today. My last bag (the one that was too small) was a deep rusty red.

Believe it or not, I saw a bum on the side of the road carrying that exact same bag the other day. He had a of piece of notebook paper taped to it saying that he is a disabled vet and hungry. I asked him where he got the bag and he said he uses it to poop in. Strange coincidence.

I didn't see the matching cigarette case, I imagine it was in his back pocket or tucked in his sock.
