Not because I think Quentin is due for a flop; I think the guy has earned his spot among the GOAT directors. But his stuff also deserves multiple viewings, so I probably will end up owning it at some point.Worst movie he's ever made. RE: MOVIES - Donovan - 12-28-2015 Did you see it? RE: MOVIES - Blindgreed1 - 12-28-2015 Few chuckles here and there. The End... Incredibly wild and disheartening documentary that begins with a man who was wrongly imprisoned for 18 years and the hits just keep on coming. I've been watching this too. Very compelling. RE: MOVIES - Duchess - 12-28-2015 I just ordered The Revenant to read rather than go see the movie. RE: MOVIES - Midwest Spy - 12-28-2015 Went to see Star Wars on Saturday. It essentially followed the plot line of the original. The CGI was excellent, however, all in all, I was a tad disappointed. RE: MOVIES - Donovan - 12-28-2015 I enjoyed the hell out of Jessica Jones on Netflix. Dark in the same manner as Daredevil, and not your average superhero fare. David Tennant is frigging brilliant as the villain. Toys with your emotions every episode RE: MOVIES - BigMark - 12-29-2015 Netflix changed everything. RE: MOVIES - Duchess - 12-29-2015 It's hard to still long enough to watch a movie. RE: MOVIES - Maggot - 12-29-2015 Hi Ramseykittens!!!! The landscapes and cinematography seems to be what all of the critics are raving about and someone told me that Leo needs an Oscar for his role in it. RE: MOVIES - Duchess - 12-29-2015 I gave it a little thought before I pulled the trigger on it but I don't think I'd be able to sit through all the gruesomeness, I'd be better off simply reading of it. Apparently the book does a better job surprising the viewer/reader. I'd imagine it has to be more of a mystery just because it takes longer to read than to watch something. Kinda wish I'd read the book instead. Good movie tho. |
