Lake Jessup has the largest concentration of gators in any lake in the US. Every time I drive over the bridge I see at least one floating in the water. I don't know if you could pay me a million bucks to swim in there for 5 minutes, even though they probably eat good and wouldn't even bother you. That little girl who wondered from her home survived for 3 days in the woods out there.

There are some lakes that gators have been spotted in and people still continue to swim, but not Lake Jesup. I've never even seen anyone on Jet Skis out there.

The tap water in Amsterdam tastes like the bottled spring water here. If you get it in a restaurant they charge 50 cents a glass, however. The hotel we stayed at made a point of telling us they are the only hotel bar to give cups of water out for free. You could imagine our excitement after paying $2500 per night. Nothing like going down to the bar for a nice glass of free water.

No, $2500.00/night. When my husband booked the flight I started looking up hotels online and nothing in all of Amsterdam was available and it turned out that they had a goddamn broadcasting convention right on the day we arrived. That was the only room available and actually worth every penny even though the price was jacked up because of the convention. Awesome hotel in the perfect location. I just thought it was weird that they kept bragging about the free water. It was the Grand Amrath.

For the first time ever I used it in my coffee this morning & it was fine. I went into it with a positive attitude, I didn't want to feel bitchy about it and I only used about an 1⁄8 of a teaspoon per cup. Giving it up isn't going to be the issue that I thought it might be.
