I still like the fairytale about the flood and the animals going in two by two, including two of every one of the 800,000 species of beetle, the best.

I think it might have meant just bugs in general otherwise there wouldn't be room for them all.

size matters
The number of animals which could have been comfortably carried aboard the Ark for the duration of the voyage is in dispute for various reasons with the number fluctuating between 16,000 and 25,000. Keep in mind that not all the creatures of the earth had to be on board the ark, only air breathing, land-dwelling animals. I am reliably informed that 1,500,000 cubic feet would equal the capacity of 570 modern railroad cattle cars. Most animals are not very large, so if we surmise that the average size of all animals is the size of a sheep and one railroad stock car can carry about 240 sheep, then we could fit 40,000 animals in as few as 167 railway cars. As the Ark's total capacity was 570 cars, then 40,000 animals would require less than 30% of the Ark's space. In other words all the animals could fit on just one of the Ark's three decks which would leave the other 70% of the ark's space free for animal supplies, Noah's family, food, and any personal belongings which may have needed to be carried.

And how did Noah stop all the animals from fighting and killing and eating each other?
Where did he pick up a polar bear and kangaroo from?
So the only animals that God cared about were the air breathing mammals? why? isn't everything from the biggest whale to the tiniest gnat of his creations?
Where did he store all the food to feed thousands upon thousand of animals for 40 days and 40 nights?
How many people did he need to feed and care for thousands of animals 24 hours a day for 40 days and nights?

OP, fish and whales swim in water, a flood is water.
birds can fly and land on the outside of the ark, or may be even be in the ark, as you can see there was a lot of room.
OP, show me a map of the continents during the time of noah's flood.
some believe that it was one big land mass at that time.
Noah did not go anywhere the animals came to him.
He had his family that was it, obviously that was considered to be enough, how many people were in noah's family OP?
I posted the article mainly to show the size of the ark, if you want to have a theological discussion I'm good for that as well but I have to tell you I will feel like im fighting a midget with no arms or legs.

So I can blame you prayer-s for the bad things that happen in this world? If your prayers do indeed affect the outcome, you people have been dropping the ball the last few years.
Stop praying so much for yourself and pray for others. God should smite all you selfish prayer-s.

you can blame me for not praying enough! If we were all doing what we should be doing the world would be a better place.

The thing is with Noah's Ark is that it did happen, you can google it and find it on Google Earth. It exists. The bible needs to be interpreted its a spiritual book. Maybe it was a certain population, who knows? we don't have all the answers. no way. but there is evidence that an ark exists, along with tombs of people in the old testament and the ark of the covenant is around somewhere too.
also i watched this documentary on how they crossed the red sea, its a big secret of the REAL mout sinai. It's in Saudi Arabia. These guys found all these archeological landmarks that line up with what was told in bible. Absolutely facinating to watch.
Don't get too hung up on whether every species of beetle was present on the ark, it could be representative of something else.
The point I think with God was the wickedness that was present, that was the message, not the bugs.

Honest question:
Which does the most good in the world (you listed both):
Praying or doing good things?

John saw the ark in heaven.
It's not on earth.

Cracker spiritually prayer and doing good things are one and the same if things are being done as they are supposed to be done.
Most people don't know how to pray, they only pray in times of need and mostly in a selfish way.
Prayer is worship
prayer is intercession.
and Prayer is "supplication", if you don't know what these words means look them up.

John was one of the apostles, he was shown some things that made him special, one of those things was a glimps of heaven, the ark of the covenant was one of the things he saw.

I attended a Baptist college, dick, I had to study religion and prayer. I understand the terms.
I think aussie is crazy thinking prayer is more powerful than action. I see Christian Scientist in her future...
If I come to your clinic, aussie, you better give me some damn pills before you start praying over me and laying on hands or I am going to beat your ass.

John was Gnostic.
I was just wondering because I remember reading some post of yours about Noah (Gilgamesh) earlier. I was lost for a bit.
