I hope I'm wrong.
I think the brother is clueless, also.
Or stupid ....probably both.

Glad to see they are catching other criminals as a result of the searches but I wish they would find clues as to where Holly is. So sad!

Among those people is Tony Calabrese, founder of the Tactical SAR group that is supposedly dedicated to finding missing people. This group has a Facebook community page for information regarding Holly's disappearance. The Holly Bobo Search and Info Facebook page is the focus of comments made by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation today. The Ohio Based group has been posting so-called leads publicly, claiming there are leads and evidence involved in the girl's case. Some of the so-called leads include images of signatures from a large coon hunt that took place shortly before Holly Bobo disappeared. Another so-called lead was a photograph of an abandoned house. The caption read that a girl's voice was heard screaming from it. These posts have since been removed, but for weeks, the moderator of this SAR page has continuously posted what he refers to as "leads."

It's the hint of arsenic that gives it that extra kick.

i still don't think this passes the smell test.

It has now been 10 weeks since Holly Bobo disappeared from outside her Decatur County home. In that time, her mom and dad have only spoken publicly once. But, Wednesday, they broke their silence, along with Holly's brother Clint, and talked exclusively with ABC 7 Eyewitness News.
A new normal, that is how Clint describes his life since April 13. That was the day he saw his sister being walked from their home near Darden by a man wearing camouflage. The 20-year-old nursing student has not been seen since.
"I'm getting by day-by-day," said Clint. "I'm doing OK." Holly is out of sight but never out of mind for her big brother. He wears at least four different pink bracelets every day in her honor. "I wear these just because this is my life now," he explained. "This is what I do."
Clint, his mom Karen and dad Dana, devote almost every waking moment to ensuring Holly's safe return. "We get a little sleep and do a lot of searching," said Dana. He returned to work at a local tree service company just a few weeks ago. But he still devotes his evenings and weekend to searching with Clint, hoping they will find something in the woods not seen before.
The Bobo family clings to hope even in times when the anguish of it all is too much to bear. Barely a moment goes by that the reality of Holly's disappearance does not bring Karen to tears. She always keeps a picture close for comfort. "I need to see her face everyday," said Karen.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation continues to release only limited information about their findings. The reason, they say, to protect the integrity of the investigation as it continues to evolve. The TBI says tips are still called in daily and up to 10 agents are assigned exclusively to the Bobo case at any given time.
But agents warn those trying to help should steer clear of websites and well-wishers that imply they are assisting in the investigation. Because agents say they are not. Tips should only be called in to the TBI Hotline, which is 1-800-TBI-FIND.
The Bobos and investigators alike believe there are people they see in their own communities who know who took Holly. DAMN RIGHT THEY KNOW! "Anyone out there who has any information, no matter how small you think it is, please, come forward with it and turn that in to authorities," said Clint.
Investigators say they have no reason to believe Holly has been taken out of West Tennessee, which gives Karen hope that her daughter can hear her plea. "We love you and we miss you so much," said Karen. "We'll never give up until you're back home with us."
There is currently a $85,000 reward for information leading to the return of Holly and the arrest of her abductor.

Something about the brother irks me. But it hard to tell since LE have been very hush hush about any findings. I don't like the fact that the brother may have had something to do w/Holly's disappearance yet he is w/his dad searching for clues. Hoping this case is solved sooner rather than later.

Bobo Search Leads To Additional Searches

Story Updated: Aug 1, 2011 at 8:42 PM CDT
The search for missing Decatur County nursing student Holly Bobo, has prompted another search in nearby Perry County. Officials said they are searching for Victor George Wall, 44, formerly of Linden.
Records indicate Wall is a convicted sex offender, who has not registered or been seen since 2007. Following Bobo's abduction in April, local law enforcement began reviewing sex offender lists and tracking down local offenders. Investigators say they are unable to locate Victor Wall.

Holly's family was on HLN last night. I know that many folks don't believe in statement analysis, but the article does give one food for thought.

i find the brother coached and full of shit. i watched a little of him on JVM. in fact, i think the parents are phonies. i'll read the analysis when i get a little time.
Hi everyone ... I'm new to the forum. I've been following this case very closely and have found all of your posts and theories on this case very interesting! I enjoy reading them all! I agree completely that there is something about the whole thing that stinks to high heaven. There are so many aspects of it that just doesn't make sense to me at all. For examples ... I watched a video of the mother "sobbing" without the first trace of a tear. It was reported that the brother, when finding the blood, actually called his mother before he called 911 ... why? And if you were going to kidnap someone, would you just walk right up to their house in broad daylight and stand on their carport knowing that someone else might be home and you might be seen? I wouldn't! I read a statement from the sheriff stating that the cell phone that was found was done so from a phone tip that was made to the sheriffs office. That definitely sounds like a plant to me. T-shirt sales for vacation money ... refusing the help of psychic profiler, Carla Baron (for free!) ... then there are the nonchalant attitudes of the brother and the boyfriend ... NONE of this makes any sense to me! If my daughter were missing, I would turn over every rock and use every avenue to try to find her. I would hire a witch doctor complete with rattles and feathers if I thought it would help! I don't know what happened but something obviously did and I would bet money in Vegas that someone within that circle of the family and boyfriend knows something. And for what ever reason ... they aren't telling.

The brother still bugs me. Neighbor's kid hears screams but Clint doesn't? (I guess it's possible, but take a read) SNIP:
Karen said she was in her school's cafeteria when she got the message that a neighbor's son had heard screams coming from their home.
"I think at that point I knew something was wrong because I knew Holly had a test, a big test, that day," she said. "And at the time she came and told me that, Holly should've already been gone to school."
Karen said Clint, who was at home asleep at the time, did not hear screams.
"I had shut his bedroom door that day because she was studying, and I think he had a paper to write so he was planning on getting up later in the morning," she said.
Holly had been an honor student since high school and was engrossed in her studying, Karen said. She attended nursing school on scholarship.
"Well, when I spoke to Clint, and he asked me did Holly not have school today because her car was still here, then I really knew something," Karen said.
He also asked his mom if Holly was going hunting with her boyfriend. Karen said no and that her daughter should have already been at school because she had a test.
Karen panicked, making two calls to the police as she made her way home and informed her husband, who also rushed home from work
She said when her son realized what had happened, he also called the police.
By the time her parents made it home, Holly was gone.
The family said they still believe that Holly is alive, and that belief drives them.
