NO curtains, there's nobody to look in except wild turkeys and the coyotes/werewolves.

They collect dust, skin flakes, germs, fluids, mites, etc and really can't be cleaned well. That's exactly why I get the water proof mattress pads (that don't feel waterproof). Wiki Answers: Does a mattress double in weight over 10 years? The short answer, No, it doesn't Double in weight, but it does gain weight. The long answer, a mattress does gain weight as the years pass. It absorbs the fluids that your body excretes (oil and sweat) as well as dead skin cells. Another weight factor, is that the mattress becomes host to microscopic dust mites, which live in the dust and feed on the skin cells. These then perform their normal biologic functions, and their excrement adds its weight to the mattress as well. With all these factors, over 10 or so years, a 90 pound mattress can gain around 20 pounds. 20lbs of nasty...grooooooss. Commando Cunt Queen

I want to downgrade to the queen so I can get rid of the huge damn set I have now. (I feel your pain LC, my set is super heavy solid wood.) I want to go minimalist so I can move in one little UHaul truck when I go off the grid. I want one bed, one dresser, one nightstand and one chair in my bedroom, not the megalithic heavy oak/metal I have now. It is killing my chi. I don't know about the fake ones, I have the real deal, logo and all. My son worked there until he moved to LA. They make all kinds of foam shit there. I got my carpet padding for next to nothing. I would probably prefer the sleep number if I could wrap my brain around paying the price for it. I've never heard anything bad about the sleep number bed.

I let my husband pick the bedroom out (the dumb fuck), but I'd really prefer something more sleek and sexy. I'm not too crazy about the bamboo furniture, but we have bamboo flooring too and I really like that.

The sleep number beds come in different price ranges. I didn't get the top of the line...maybe middle. As I recall it was around 3-4k but I think it has a twenty year warranty.

I'd sleep in a hammock before I would pay 3 or 4 grand for a bed.
That's just fucking stupid.
