This thing is FUBAR. There's still the girlfriend saying she heard trayvon ask Zimmerman why he was following him. I heard about the weed but not the dealing part.
He deserved to die, damn druggie. Same with Duchess, FQ2 and Maggot. Kill the pot smokers!!

ABC News released exclusive surveillance video to WFTV of gunman George Zimmerman at the Sanford Police Department the night he shot Trayvon Martin.
In the surveillance video, a handcuffed Zimmerman was being walked into the building by a group of officers.
Zimmerman claims to have been severely beaten by Martin, but in the video Zimmerman doesn't appear to have any significant injuries.

Not them User. According to Cracker the parents deserved to have their son killed for not grounding him for getting suspended.
Seriously? Maybe he was nearing the end of his suspension and had redeemed himself a bit so they let him walk to the store to get a tea and some candy for his little brother. I guess when you kids are bad and get grounded Crackass, you never let them off the chain a bit for good behavor. Oh that's right. Your kids were/are perfect and never got in trouble.
That was a hateful mean thing you said Crackass. Once again proving to everyone what a bitch you are and why no one likes you.

Ramsey, it's called involved parenting. Trayvon's dad didn't actually know his whereabouts that night. He thought he was staying with his 20 year-old cousin. And that's coming off a school suspension. Are you kidding me? I would've been grounded for sure, as would my son (just graduated) if he'd been suspended.
All that being said, if Zimmerman doesn't have injuries consistent with being attacked, then his story is shit. He would've been the one to provoke the confrontation.
If that's the case, he needs to face criminal charges immediately.

I hope we'll know the facts someday. Maybe the kid did attack but maybe Zimmerman flashed his weapon and trayvon felt that threatened? Who knows.

I agree Dick that yes parents do need to be more aware of where their kids are. I too find it odd that Trayvon was at his Dad's GF's house and his father wasn't aware of that. However, we don't know the timeline. Maybe he was home and went to the store with the intent of coming back and then going with his cousin. But he never made it back. His father didn't know that and assumed he had gotten picked up by his cousin. There are too many questions about what really happened, who was where, who was doing what. However, no parent "deserves" to have their child murdered in that manner.

Washington (CNN) -- A congressman was removed from the House floor Wednesday after giving a speech about Trayvon Martin while wearing a hoodie.
I don't see a problem making a display of solidarity using one's attire. The hoodie in this case has become a valuable symbol and can be used to unify. Like pink ribbons worn for breast cancer and yellow ribbons for P.O.W.s the hoodie had a symbolic reference to the words being spoken. I only wished for a reenactment of the scene from 'Dead Poets Society' where Robin Williams came to empty his desk and the students stood on their desks in solidarity out of respect for what he stood for. All doing this while the teacher slammed his fists on his desk demanding that they sit down.

Holy shit! I don't see a mark on him.
What do you mean "stepped on when page turned"?

I just watched a video on CNN of him being brought to the police station after the shooting. There's no blood, no visible injuries to his nose or face in general, no blood on his shirt either. A broken nose bleeds a great deal and I'm not seeing evidence of that.

This doesn't necessarily relate to the Martin case but I noticed a middle schooler out and about on a school day (I was pretty sure he was suspended that day) and I made a similar comment..."why isn't that little fucker grounded and at home"? The person I was talking to (who probably makes me look like Ann Coulter) commented that if you're pretty much poor, both parents work, you don't necessarily have family or someone else around who's willing to sit on the kid during the day while you're working...short of chaining the kid to the bed, what do you do? If you're not physically present...? I guess you could lay traps at doors to determine if they've gone in or out during the day (the old tiny slip of paper that falls to the ground if the door is opened) but damn. Made me glad I'm around to make sure my grounded kids stay grounded.
Like I said, it doesn't necessarily relate to Trayvon but I can see how this shit happens if you don't have the resources, time or whatever to control your kids.

If you don't have the time to raise your kids, don't fucking have any.
I'm disgusted that people don't think kids can behave unless you are sitting right on top of them. If you do a decent job at the outset, you can manage them when they are at the snotty ages.
I still have one at home so I am going out on a limb here (not really, mine are decent kids) but none of mine EVER, and I mean EVER, got suspended. Because they knew I wouldn't be okay with that. Because I raised them that way. Because I had to work.
Jesus Christ, people are effen lame nowadays.

The hard part of 'two-parent income' households is not being there when you know you should.
However, if you've truly raised your kids right, as they get older you shouldn't have to worry about them getting suspended, much less, have to monitor them while serving said suspension.
That's of course easier said than done.
The wallflower, goody two-shoes students all the way through 9th grade, can suddenly get a new group of friends who expose him/her to all the temptations of high school.
My son dabbled a bit here and there, I know. But, he kept his nose clean at school and during his social life. If he had committed any crimes (or if he ever does) you're damn right I'd/I'll feel somewhat responsible.

Yeah well, that's because you're infallible.
Mine have never even had a referral to the office much less been suspended (yet...knocks on wood). However, I wouldn't claim to be mother of the year nor would I author a parenting book. I do the best I can.

Thanks, hun.
If your kid gets caught with weed at school AND they are out wandering at night while they are suspension, there's a problem. Doesn't take a detective to figure it out.
You curse at old ladies. (I didn't tell that lady you are Catholic, too, but I will next time. Because then she will know Jesus let you both down.)

You're right, sweetie. Damn kid was just asking to be stalked and shot! Clearly this is all the parent's fault. If they'd been better parents, Zimmerman wouldn't have had to follow the kid who was armed with skittles and iced tea. Lock these kids up so crazy wannabe cops don't have to shoot them!

Yes, that is exactly what I said.
If you don't watch your kids, bad shit happens. If they are getting into trouble, maybe watch them until they stop getting in trouble. Or let them run the streets at night and then act completely shocked when something bad happens. Either way is okay, I guess.

Yeah, do everything but don't blame the wannabe cop that MIGHT HAVE shot the kid for no good reason.
C'mon. I don't know exactly what happened but even if he was a kid who had been in trouble, he shouldn't have to worry that some freak would stalk him (at that time when he seemingly wasn't doing anything wrong), confront him when there was no indication a crime had or was about to be committed and shoot him. That's just stupid. If it went down that way, you're blaming the victim; not the perpetrator.

I'm not dissin' NO_LIMIT_NIGGA. Justice for NO_LIMIT_NIGGA!!!!!!!
I see things a little differently, I guess: http://www.insidehighered.com/news/2012/...disruptors
I have heard every excuse in the book. After a few years, it all sounds like blah, blah, blah. Either do a good job with your kids or expect bad shit to happen. It is really that simple.

The Million Hoodie March was a display of unity using ones attire-what this idiot did was nothing but ploy to grab attention for himself.
Senators and Congressman should be held to a higher expectation for attire-they make over a hundred grand a year and one of them show's up to a senate hearing wearing a Walmart hoodie?
If our own senators and congressmen don't have enough sense to wear appropriate attire to work, what does that say to the world about the rest of us?
That we'd rather dress like hobo's? That we like to hide our faces with hoodies?
There's a reason the sign on the bank door says "remove hats, sunglasses, and hoods before entering".
