Free Falling.
Good luck, Clang, two weeks isn't a lot of time but I hope you can find something that interests you.
Yeah...thanks.
Just woke up an hour ago and the kitchen ceiling is leaking. This new year just keeps getting better and better.

I resolve to get through the year without doing anything crushingly stupid.
So far so good...except for when I went to clean snow off the car this morning without putting on my gloves. It was 16 degrees out.

Yeah, but look at it this way.
At least you won't be contributing an additional 2% out of your paycheck to Social Security like the rest of us.
Good luck with the roof.

Clang, are you going to get up on the roof? You can die from that height if you fall. Do you know anything about roofing?

No and No.
I said "kitchen ceiling" was leaking.
Further evidence for my theory that people skim my posts and/or the reading comprehension level/intelligence of Mockers isnt as great as I had surmised.

If your "kitchen ceiling" is leaking it is a safe assumption you have an issue with your roof.
Let me put it in layman's terms you will more easily understand:
If you have an issue with your butthole leaking, it is a safe assumption there is something wrong with your food consumption.

Maybe. (We do have roof issues too, but that is by our laundry room upstairs and opposite end of the house from the kitchen)
I think it was a burst shower pipe or an overflowing toilet issue though.
The plumber should be coming sometime this week or next week. Then I'll know for sure.

That assumes the roof is above the kitchen. My kitchen is downstairs, bedrooms and bathrooms above.

You don't live in a home on wheels.

Didn't Tom Petty sing 'Free Loadin'?
Speaking of which, who knew you could get paid to sort of free load?
Applied for a job as a "Live-In Lifestyle Specialist". Basically its a full time 40 hour a week job taking care(cooking, cleaning, driving him around, etc) of a disabled gentleman with another live-in lifestyle specialist while sharing a 3 bedroom apartment. Free housing/living expenses, and it includes health/medical benefits.
Its basically what I'm doing now for my mom, except the part where I get paid for it.
